Top Niagara-on-the-Lake Hotel Reviews
The Scotsman Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Expensive but worth the price. Most luxurious hotel in the area. Superb breakfast, magnificent common areas. Modern bedroom and bathroom facilities. Exemplary service."
Harbour House
10/10 Excellent
"A quiet, convenient location. Room was beautiful and bed was comfy. Breakfast is very basic. Nespresso machine in room terrific! They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room for our anniversary! Could explain the transportation options a bit more clearly! 4/5 stars!"

8/10 Good
"Our king room in the main building was comfortable and spacious. We arrived at 11 AM and asked if we could check in earlier than 4 PM. Staff were very unhelpful and told us that the cleaning staff have their own schedule that they have nothing to do with and that they could only guarantee us check in at 4 PM. This is very unlike other hotels we have stayed at that go out of their way to prepare a room ahead of time if we arrive in advance of check-in. Sure enough, our room was not ready until two minutes before 4 PM. It is a room that might take 20 minutes top to clean so I don’t know why they wouldn’t want to make a minimal effort for guests who arrive early. For this reason alone, we would not stay at this hotel again. Also, I called earlier in the day to ask about parking and was said yes, there’s parking at this address with no indication that the parking was underground, and that we needed to go upstairs to get a ticket to place in the windshield. The staff member I spoke with was incredibly lackadaisical as were all of the very young staff at this hotel."
The Shaw Club Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Shaw Club has become my favourite hotel in NOTL. It's a close walk to the downtown core, and really easy to get to from out of town with lots of parking. I have an EV, so the presence of multiple EV chargers is also very helpful. Rooms are nice, especially the club rooms in the adjacent building (though there's a set of stairs that's the only way to get to those rooms that might be tricky for some with limited mobility). Compared to other hotels in NOTL, Shaw Club is a good value, and very conveniently located. I'll happily stay again."
Oban Inn
10/10 Excellent
"This property was lovely. The grounds and room were immaculate. Located near the historic area and a golf course on Lake Onterio with a lovely restaurant."
The Charles Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We have been staying at this property for the last few years, which speaks for itself. Charles Hotel is a true "old charm" in the heart of a beautiful NOTL. Its location is perfect for those who appreciate quiet romantic spaces and, at the same time, would like to stay close to all the amenities. The hotel staff is very friendly and customer-oriented. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, which provide beautiful views from the hotel terraces and patios. Also even though there are no coffee makers in the rooms, you are able to order (for free) any teas and/or coffees which will be brought up directly to your room in a few minutes. Last, we would like to thank Alex for being very helpful and for honouring our room request! We are looking forward to coming back to this beautiful property in the future."
Woodbourne Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Unbelievable experience, with staff serving you as if you were a Queen or a King!"
