The Flodigarry Hotel in the Skye

"The property was beautiful with mountain and views of the pond. The dinner we had at the restaurant was very good and the complimentary breakfast the next morning was plentiful and tasty. We could hike on the grounds, a short one, but lovely just the same."

"Great staff from check-in to the in-house bar to housekeeping. All were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was standard British breakfast. Bar and restaurant were very good. Which is nice since the hotel is a ways from other places."

"Our stay at Greshornish was lovely. It’s quite a remote location, but would be a lovely place to stay for a few days. We used it as a halfway point traveling around the Isle of Skye . Also, the breakfast was very good."

"This is a great, low-budget option that is family-friendly, clean, and quiet. Staff were all super friendly. The hostel is centrally located and across the street from a large, inexpensive car park. Everything in Portree is a short walking distance away. We stayed in a private room for 2 nights. The bathroom and shower are small and the water pressure is suitable for an elephant, which is great, but the shower head would not stay put and the pole it was attached to kept falling off, which we simply laughed about. I assume anyone expecting absolute perfection would look for a much more expensive hotel option. We were quite happy with the hostel and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank-you!"
