Got there to find a bunk bed in a single room, not a double bed. Neither of us can use bunk beds so had to shift top mattress to floor to try and get a sleep. We were also charged £100 for the 2 nights unlike the original £50. I could have booked a db&b for just more than that at the time I booked. Why would I pay twice as much for a bunk bed and a shared bathroom? The staff were super friendly and helpful. Very cheerful decoration with bright colors everywhere. Overall, quite clean. Lockers are a bit small (i.e. can't fit a whole bag in there) but really only downside. The kitchen area is huge so makes for easy cooking even during peak eating times. The location really can't be beat...right downtown in Portree. My one complaint is that there was only one outlet in the whole room of 10 bunks. It had a power strip so there were plenty of spaces for all, but it meant only 2-4 people could actually be close to their charging electronics. ##### Elizabeth L. The price was more than half the price of any hotel. I was surprised at how clean it was. The bed was comfy enough for me. I realized I should've brought my own towel, but that's on me.
