"The rooms we had were a big step above the student rooms we had back in the 1980's although they could benefit from better ventilation in hot weather. The fact they had ensuite facilities and lifts helped greatly. The breakfast was very good indeed and the staff very professional and friendly."

"Great stay as usual here. We use this as a stop off point on our way to Cornwall. Great location, plenty of parking, breakfast included. Rooms are a little dated and could do with an upgrade but they are clean and the other factors make up up for this. "

We liked the location, although it’s not a quick walk to the main campus of the University of Exeter and the walk into the town center may be longer than some would want. There’s good access to public transport. And ample parking. "
