Having your own set of wheels certainly makes getting around this area a lot easier. For accommodation I'd recommend Luce, a small town a stone's throw away from the action, where there are a few options. A few hours northeast of Ljubljana, the capital, lies a region of alpine valleys that will take your breath away. I took this photo shortly after sunrise on the ridge between two of those valleys. Having your own set of wheels certainly makes getting around this area a lot easier. For accommodation I'd recommend Luce, a small town a stone's throw away from the action, where there are a few options. The Turkish kitchen staff obviously know how to provide a good breakfast! Ample on site parking, and located in a quiet residential area just a short drive from highways and the city centre. Cannot say enough good things about the quality of my stay.
