Is a charming property but is quite old, don’t expect luxury or even high comfort (to an American standard), but to be fair, is quiet good compared with other hotels in the area. There are other more modern hotels but they are quite far from the main pedestrian section of the town. The hotel Is very safe. I would definitely recommend and I would happily stay there again. We choose bungalow and it was a great decision. Bungalows were located inside the walled aria which was very green. Every bungalow stand alone with a small porch with table and two chair. Inside was clean and have basic services like a small refrigerator and privet full bathroom. No TV but who needs TV while visiting Atacama! Only one downside is a very slow internet, but it was explained that this is generic for San Pedro. We had an issue with our toilet and Johnny got it fixed on the same day. The hotel was conveniently located, right next to a grocery shop, walking distance from the centre for restaurants and tours, and had secure parking which was a must for us. Breakfast was yummy too with a selection of cereal, bread, fruit, ham, cheese and eggs. Each room is an individual cabana. The decor in the room was beautiful, and the landscaping of the grounds is wonderful. The staff was extremely gracious. I used this as a base to explore the area for 3 days and it was perfect. I had a rental car and explored on my own without booking any tours. It was easy and safe. A perfect trip. I will do it again soon.
