"Hotel is excellent. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Reception and restaurant staff could not do enough to help with anything we asked for. Food for breakfast and dinner was of a high quality and well presented. The room had a safe and fridge, with a level access shower. Only problem was the control for the heating and air conditioning was faulty and they could not get anyone to look at it during our weekend stay. We would recommend the hotel and would be happy to return. "

"A pleasant place with poor services. Our expectations were higher for the price paid. No kettle, no glass or something in the room. In my opinion, the hotel is overpriced and over rated. "Really lovely old property, really lovely .. doors were old in keeping with historic building. Really noisy when other guests closed their door No lift but no problem if no mobility issues. Bed very comfortable. Staff helpful "
