"The property is located conveniently downtown and close to shops and restaurants. We were pleasantly greeted at check in. The property has not been updated and still has that old time feel to it. They have a newer location a couple blocks away where I would stay next time. "

"Michelle was in contact with me by text & was easy to reach about our visit. Maple Cabin was perfect with a full kitchen. Loved that there were several well-spaced fire pits with wood close by for convenience."

"The room was nice and clean slept well had a new TV in it but the grounds around the area were not kept up at all. Possibly the motel went through hard times during covid it's a very big motel so I don't know if they couldn't get the help but the pool isn't usable and the none of the grounds are kept up"

"Very nice and historic B&B in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Elk Country. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The owner is very personable and helpful in advising you on where to eat and places to visit. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Peggy was VERY helpful, by providing information in the room for Groundhog Day. Her communication was thoughtful (providing check-in information, a hand-drawn map of the surrounding streets and highlighting the parking, and a list of local restaurants in Clearfield). There was a kitchen and full-sized refrigerator, as well as soda / candy / chips available to purchase on the honor system (it was good for my kids to see that). This was beyond perfect, and I couldn't recommend it more. "

"My wife an I enjoyed the Hygrade and Jim and Matt immensely! This is a true gem stuck on the middle of the 'endless mountains' that is worth the stay and worth the effort to get to it. Enjoyed this wonderful old hotel with just a few rooms, but amazing service and delightful antiques. We will definitely be back again and recommend to anyone with a sense of history and a love for quaint decor and a true sense of being 'home.'"
