Very relaxing stay. Will recommend.

Clean room, helpful staff. Room a biyt outdated but nice and spacious with everything you need. Pool was excellent as were the grounds. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Nothing fancy but very tasty and well cooked, good value for money. 25 mins from airport (12km), easy drive just a little traffic to consider

Ideal for us; worked well as a base for exploring the Pacific side of Costa Rica with tours organised by Club del Mar. Room has all the facilities needed, all staff did everything to help us get everything out of the time we had in Costa Rica. We also loved the easy access to the beach, as well as the good food and drinks available.

Great place to stay, easy reach of the airport at San Jose but far enough away to be surrounded by birds and wildlife

Beautiful location. Very quiet and remote. Lovely couple running the hotel with friendly staff. Had an extremely relaxing week. Beach is amazing. Seemingly endless, though not a lot of shelter and strong currents.

Away from busy tourist areas and on a beautiful beach.

Staff were so incredibly supportive and friendly, thank you

This was a really well kitted out apartment. Probably the best we have stayed in in 4 weeks of being in Costa Rica. The owners have thought of everything. Nothing was missing from the well stocked kitchen. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked lovely. I'd highly recommend this place. There's a great restaurant on the corner called Chepes Bar and I'd highly recommend doing the Crocodile Man tour

I had an excellent stay at the Canal Grande Lodge. The staff were wonderful, really friendly and helpful and the hotel was spotless with large spacious rooms. It also had a lovely outdoor space with a pool and amazing views. A good option for those who are looking to stay close to San Jose airport but away from the busy streets of San Jose.

Amazing location on the edge of jungle and just 15 min walk to main street. Free bicycle if required. Beautifully kept garden. Great breakfast of local cuisine. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

We LOVED our stay at this secluded gem. It is situated on a gorgeous beach with almost nobody else in sight. The villa was very well designed, with very comfortable beds. The staff were amazing and added a very personal touch. The food menu was fairly limited in size as there aren’t many guests but the food was all delicious. I tried food at the nearby resort which was supposed to be stand out, and actually preferred Encantada. The yoga classes with Christina really stood out as the highlight of...

The hotel is in a great position with acceess to the superb beach. The facilities are good with much wildlife in and around the well kept gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped with a large private balcony overlooking the beach and sea.

I'd say this is one of the loveliest bed & breakfasts I've ever stayed in. The gardens are truly beautiful and it was awesome to wake up and look out at the flowers, plants and amazing wildlife taking in all the nectar. Jnana made us the best breakfast of our trip - it was truly awesome. They were so welcoming and friendly as hosts, and we felt very much at home there. Wish we could have stayed longer.
