The area has ample transportation options as well as places to dine within walking distance. Only about 15 minutes by cab to the Medina with an average fare of 80--100 MAD ($10). Would stay here again."

"Considering Expedia had actually never confirmed my booking with the riad but had confirmed with ourselves ALSO Expedia did nothing to correct this issue the day prior to our departure. We managed to contact the riad directly to be told they had no room available - but did place us in another riad for 4 nights then we transferred ourselves to el wiem. By this time I’d had enough so checked out & booked a hotel outside the medina. "

"The Riad is magnificent, and the host Abdou was very welcoming, he made me tea as soon as I arrived, I felt like I was coming home. I decided to extend my stay several times due to how comfortable I felt and how easy it was to make friends from different countries that were also staying at the Riad. ![My host family took me to Lake Takerkoust (its dam powers all of Amizmiz and Marrakech) for a hike. Up here, you can see the entire floodplain and the river tributary that flows into the main lake. Far away on the other side, you can see a motorbike riding across the dirt road as if a speck of dust was slowly floating across space.
