"We absolutely loved our stay at Smiggins Hotel- the staff are so kind and friendly, the location couldn’t be better, the rooms are beautiful and warm and the food is absolutely sensational. "For what the property is, it was very good value for money. The rooms are clean. The towels are new and big. The bed linen in new and clean. The property and the rooms are somewhat dated, but you are getting what you pay for and a little bit more."

"The room was quiet, tidy and spacious with a lovely view and effective heater. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and reasonably prompt when assistance was needed. Although instructions were to wash your dishes, no detergent was supplied. The large bed appeared not to have had sheets changed as one side of the pillowcase smelt like sweat and there were a few head hairs between the sheets. Ignoring that, we were very comfortable."
