The policy seems unfair to guests - when a room is cancelled and likely re-sold to another guest, keeping the full payment appears to be double-charging for the same accommodation. A more reasonable approach would include partial refunds for cancellations made with adequate notice (24+ hours), especially for weather emergencies.
