"Very good value for money. Excellent spacious apartment. Great breakfast. Large pool warm enough to swim in at the end of September. Friendly staff. Good self service laundry facilities. Reasonably priced secure parking although free parking is also available."

"Overall the experience was great. Walking distance to any of the restaurants, an outdoor store in case you forgot anything and a supermarket. The parking is not at the hotel itself as there are two lots (one north and one south) but you can park in front,check in, drop off your luggage then go park the car. You need to ask for the remote to the air conditioner. My only complaint for the stay is that I wish it had a mini fridge because if I want something cold for an early hike nothing opens...

"The bed was hard as a rock. Fixed somewhat with extra blankets and a comforter placed under the sheet but still not so good especially for older guests. Otherwise a very good place to stay"

"We really wanted to like this place - it’s a gorgeous, old stone chalet with great photos. Unfortunately, we were met by an unpleasant man who led us to a very small room that had a horrific smell. We tried to air the place out but it didn’t fix the problem. We asked about the smell, assuming that we be moved to a different room, but the man was irritated at our request and gave us a bottle of pine cleaner to pour down the sink drain...and that didn’t fix it. Also, we were bit by some unseen...

"Although the room was comfortable, the El Parque restuarant that on the website said was open at 8.00pm it was closed! The main restuarant food didn't look very appetising at all with minimal choice."

"This is a no frills place to stay. That said, the staff are lovely, breakfast is nice and very good value. Our room smelt heavily of cigarettes, so we had to have the balcony doors open all night to clear it. The shower head in the bathroom was broken so it sprayed water at the ceiling and there were dead flies. That said it was functional and ok for what it is. Wouldn’t stop me going there again as a stop over."

"An extremely well-run upmarket guest house with ever-so-comfortable beds. Very clean and tasteful. Bathroom area a little cramped but modern with quality shower gels/shampoo. Set in a quiet area of an attractive historic town close to the outdoor wonderland of the Pyrenees. Stay one night and like me you will want to visit again - for longer! "

"We stayed here for one night. Parking was free outside hotel. We paid extra for a mountain view and it was totally worth it. We stayed in room 203. Huge room. High ceilings. Enclosed balcony with option to open doors to the outside. Table and chairs on balcony. The mountains are amazing. The room decor/colour had a Scandinavian feel with reindeer pillows. Soft towels. Super comfy bed. Reception were lovely. They discussed and were able to rustle up a vegetarian pizza for us in the restaurant in...

"Hôtel situé près de la station de ski mais il faut prendre un véhicule. Chambre confortable mais un peu bruyante quand nous y étions. Petit déjeuner très embouteillé car n'ouvrant qu'à 8 heures. Bien situé dans le village de Formigal."

"Fantastic location if you want to explore the Pyrenees. The hotel is fairly basic; the bed was fairly uncomfortable, the bathroom was really odd (attractive but no shower and no easy way to even wash your hair). Amenities were truly minimal. One pump bottle of shower gel and that’s it. Food was good (both breakfast and dinner)."
