"Good hotel next to downtown. Very spartan. Nothing fancy, no luxuries. But clean, quiet, comfortable and with a TV that often spoke English. But FYI, parking is a bear and there appears to be no AC, so visiting in the summer might get super uncomfortable. "

"OMG! Signe, the receptionist/bartender/concierge was WONDERFUL! One of our party decided to check out the train station, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, at 10PM. Signe gave her a map and directions. After an hour Signe offered to go search for our comrade when she got off, at 11pm. 10 minutes later she appeared back at the hotel with our slightly frantic, lost friend! We were SO relieved! "

"Friendly, helpful staff, convenient location, decent rooms, excellent food. The reason for rating 4/5: Wi-Fi was non-existent in our first room, but room was changed, and it worked in the second room. Secondly: the curtains in both rooms were not suitable for bedrooms, shutting no light out and making sleeping quite difficult. "

"This place was a simple European type budget hotel. I was very satisfied with my room. I read several of the negative reviews to see if there was anything to be concerned about. It seems that they were writing about a different hotel, or that they are super picky. Even the free breakfast was very good."
