"Excellent Hotel and great value for money."

"I was in room 4 (single room) where the bathroom was across a 3 foot corridor. This wasn’t an issue really, as I never saw anyone from the two other rooms on that landing, the only thing I did have to remember was to take the door key with me or put the door on the snib so I could get back in! Bed comfortable and room spacious for a single. Breakfast room & kitchen both spacious. Owners welcoming and pleasant. Would stay here again."

"Love this historical village hotel! The staff were AMAZING! The cuisine was delectable! We could not be more delighted! Excellent value and hospitality!"

"Comfy bed nice room great breakfast and parking"

"We had a wonderful view of the harbor out of a huge window! The food was some of the best on our entire trip! Staff was welcoming and it was an excellent location for walking."

"Beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were lovely :)"

"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"Excellent host and service. "

"The cottage was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. It was really well situated for walking into the centre of Ballater."
