"We have stayed many times for one or two nights. We like it because it because the building is older and unique. The present owners have begun to update the rooms but not all rooms are done as yet. The entrances to the rooms need doing also and so does the wooden patio out front. But i think this will get done in time. Our room was small but comfortable. We had a very comfortable king bed with soft linens. There is no air conditioning but the window opens and the ceiling fan is great. All but maybe two rooms face north, away from the hot sun. There are two floors with no elevator access so people with mobility issues need to check before reserving."

"Really great hotel. Best price in town. Close to the Japanese gardens. The pool wasn’t so warm walking in, but after a dunk, both kids were happy. Rooms were spacious and beds comfy. They had a simple coffee maker in the room and a mini fridge. No breakfast included, but I would definitely recommend the restaurant that is attached to the hotel. You will need a reservation if going on a Saturday night as the place got really busy. But food was excellent (service was a little slow). "
