"The reality is I can’t rate the facilities as we never even got to see them. Staff told us on arrival (after a 6h drive) that they’d given our room to someone else. What’s worse is that we STILL haven’t seen an email telling us of the cancellation supposedly sent to lastminute.com. Very unimpressed!!!!!"

"Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean. Plenty of parking. Only thing which needs to be updated are the towels, they are very thin, small and old. We did get woken up by carpet cleaners, was very loud, which was also annoying. "

"Cockroaches all over the shared kitchen and sink tap you get water from, encrusted in the lining of the fridge, and just when we thought the room itself was safe, woke up to some in our room. The “free breakfast” is some small servings of spreads and random stuff in the fridge and cupboards with broken doors, if you can get past knowing cockroaches have been on every surface. If you don’t see them, check after they’ve turned off the lights for the night, we got there about 10pm, and you can’t miss the 50 that scatter when you turn the lights back on. Weird hammering sounds all night to complement the army of bats outside, bar music cuts out randomly if you want to hang in there, and you cannot get 2 keys working at once for the same room, so if you’re sharing don’t split up unless someone’s left inside. After our first night we came back from our day out and asked for a refund and to leave, he was quick to give us a refund for 2 out of 4 nights with a scripted apology. We took it to get it over with but that place wasn’t even worth the one night we slept there let alone a whole extra night that we didn’t even sleep there. I can’t imagine how many nights have been paid for with no guests actually left in the room."

"Everything was well laid out, easy check in, quite a smart set up, bed was comfortable and the location was good."

"The room was very well set up with microwave and fridges, and cutlery, crockery for 3. Also a small table with chairs so very easy to organise your own breakfast. Blackout curtains were excellent but a Venetian on the car parks ideal let in a lit of light from the very well lit carpark. Overall comfort was slightly diminished for a light sensitive sleeper."

"The motel was quiet and easily accessible for our wants. The room was simple and at a good price. The entry organisation, via SMS, was different but easy. Room was clean and tidy but basic, good for a one night stay. Best to eat out at local Bowling Club."

"Close to shops, driveway had lots of potholes. Motor inn tidy and mostly clean- property is aged and dated but comfortable. Has the basic necessities. Staff very helpful. "
