Breakfast was unexpectedly pinoy cuisine with longganisa, sunny side up eggs, bite-size tortang talong with fried rice. I highly recommend Microtel Davao. Just a note: if ypu did not have a full bath towel in your room notify front desk. They thought I swiped their towel haha"

"The beds are so comfortable to sleep with and the availability of hot and cold water in the shower ensures a refreshing start to your day or night (?). While it provides a wonderful setting for our stay, there are a few minor hiccups to be aware of. Sadly, toothbrush and toothpaste are not included, so make sure to pack your essentials. Additionally, if you need a workspace, you might need to get a bit creative, as there isn't a designated area for work, despite the presence of small bedside...

Good airport hotel
"We booked this hotel last-minute due to a sudden change in our flight schedule (14h delayed). We wanted to stay close to the airport - in case there are further changes in our flight. Davao Airport View Hotel is less than 5 minutes away from the airport so it was very convenient. It offers basic amenities (normal for the price) but we got extra help from their friendly staff. I had a fancy blue cheese (plus ube halaya) that required cold temperature for storage and some gel packs for freezing, so I asked them for assistance. We initially did not have a fridge in our room, but the staff (Jeff?) managed to move a mini-fridge inside our room. There are also hot/cold water dispensers in strategic locations (hallway and lobby) so we have unli-water access. Great for an overnight stay when your flight is delayed :)"
