"It's cheap hostel in We End but you will get what you paid. Just don't expect much of $16 per night. At least you can have a car parking for free if you have one. There are 2 buildings of the hostel, White and Green, it seems the Green one is for the people who live there for ages but the White one is for new guests. But yeah seems most of people who staying in the hostel have been here a ages. *** the booking website said that you've already paid for the first night or what but the true is...

"This unit was very clean, spacious and modern, has a well-equipped kitchen, and a wonderful view of the parklands and beyond. Has a good size shower in the ensuite, and a comfortable bed. Though close to the train station, it wasn't particularly noisy. There is secure, undercover parking, and good security in the building. An easy walk to the CBD and Southbank provides many dining and entertaining opportunities. A very comfortable and relaxing place to stay."

"Location was convenient to restaurants, bars and entertainment, but not very safe (lots of people around affect by drugs and alcohol). Pool was pleasant, but not particularly clean, and bridge over smaller pool was closed off for repair. Most buildings in block are in need of a fresh coat of external paint.
