"Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it. The booking app has my details if anything goes wrong. My room (6) was in a dark lower basement, not listed as such. I asked for upstairs room which was available but it did not have a cooking stove. "The accommodation was to a high standard, and in a good location. It is ten minutes from the train station, and less than five minutes from the beach. Breakfast was prepared individually, (unlike a hotel). The owner was very helpful."
