"It was a really nice setting (it would have been great if it had been warm and sunny, sat out in the courtyard). The room we stayed in was very small, but clean and functional for a one or two night stay. We would definitely recommend it and will stay here again."

"it was a great place to stay and easy to get to the city"

"Great stay, as usual. "

"Comfortable, clean and friendly. Parking was limited to a few spaces which meant parking just outside the village for one night until we were lucky enough to find one of the designated spaces empty."

"Fabulous staff and what a wonderful property. The rooms were so stylish and big. I loved this hotel"

"I couldn’t adjust the shower water temperature so it was much too hot. I complained and was moved to another room with a shower that worked but the new room was a standard room when I’d booked a premium room and `I wasn’t refunded the difference. Also the toilet seat on the second room was broken."

The property listing said ‘pillow menu’. Hmm. The room I had looked nothing like the photos and upon arrival, I checked out the room, and bathroom, and decided to leave. I booked a room elsewhere instead and did not complete my stay. The 10 x emails, 4 x text messages and 1 x phone call all regarding the booking is excessive and...

"Despite being on the road the property was unexpectantly quiet. Once you get used to fact you are underground is a great place to stay. Had challenges with the door - never figured out how to close it after me when going out. Rang the number provided but nobody picked up."
