"Wonderful two week stay at the Drake Inn while volunteering on the island. It is right across the street from a beautiful, quiet, and pristine section of the beach and steps away from the entrance to the trail to the Wall of Tears, and close to a variety of places to eat, shop, and hang (Pink Iguana bar!). "I traveled from Florida to Galapagos Island wirh my family, but they have a issue and Quito aereopuerto, that cause to me traveled by myself, but Im arrived to Isabella Island alone , the owner pick up me from muelle, and help me with everything, phone calls to call my family, safety place, thank you so much. "The room was not on the beach as advertised, but on a street one block from the beach. We liked that out door place to sit and 24 hr coffee. The room air-conditioner did not work and the over head light kept blinking all night. The outside temp was 85 degrees. The staff did not care about either of these problems and offered no compensation. Our room was moved the next day. "

"Really good staff! Also, English is spoken. Room was small, but clean. Daily cleaning. I do suggest you pack a beach towel and a washcloth. No tv (fine by me. WiFi stays strong for the most part. Ac worked great!!"
