Mondjila Safari Camp - Campsite

Mondjila Safari Camp - Campsite

10/10 Excellent
"We loved this place. The setting is beautiful, staff is very helpful and friendly, food is excellent (thank you, Chef Macy!) -- we would return to Namibia just to stay at this place. It's everything you imagine a safari camp should be."

Ugab Terrace Lodge

Ugab Terrace Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"An excellent lodge in a beautiful location. Each room is in a separate building spaced around the ridge and overlooking the valley towards the Terrace, a geological feature that changes with the light through the day. The rooms are well designed and equipped. The main building hosts an excellent restaurant, with exceptionally good food and service. There is a view across to the Vingerklip rock formation from here. The swimming pool is nestled amongst the rocks. The service at the lodge was top quality, despite the fact that just a week before I arrived they had suffered a devastating storm that had pulled the roofs of some of the buildings. It turned out that they had been trying to contact me to arrange for me to stay in a different lodge while they were rebuilding. But as I was travelling at the time, the message didn't get through, so they just did the full service just for me on my own. Dedication! Repairs should take a few weeks, then they will be back to full strength. It would be nice to visit again when the lodge is busier with people."

"Stayes in beautiful family lodge with mini kitchen. Pool and terrace was a great place to sit out and enjoy views. Host and staff attentive but nit overbearing. Good location to get into Outjo and neighbouring tourist sites. "
