"The Hotel is a little dated but the norm for a town like Coldstream. The food was good, the breakfast excellent and the staff really cared about the clients. We enjoyed it and the locals were friendly and the service for our dog excellent."

"I confess that I was a bit disappointed when I first arrived - but the room was big and well appointed with an updated bathroom, and changed my tune., it’s walking distance to everything in town. It wasn’t hot inside during the heat wave, hurrah! The building itself is a bit shabby but the room was great. Very noisy at night so bring earplugs. "Hotel is very pet-friendly and hence the reason for our visit. We stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage which was ideal for us and our dog. The only criticism is the food at Spike's Bar (at the golf club) was a little bit disappointing."
