smell. We had breakfast included with our room and it was decent with a good variety. Our only real issue was with the electricity turning on and off in our room. I believe it was a problem with the connector in which you must place your room card to get electricity. A couple of times as I was trying to get out of the shower, I was in pitch black and it was dangerous"

"Clean, friendly, and convenient. Very close to the Republic Metro stops. The rooms are small. We reserved a twin deluxe for a father daughter weekend in Paris. There was about a foot on each side of the bed and a very small washroom. That said… rooms in Paris ARE small so… c’est la vie! There is a lovely wellness space that i used each morning to stretch and do a little yoga. This is also a very walkable location to the Marais or even the museums. "Pros: I liked the decor of the hotel. It felt like old Paris. The rooms were clean and more spacious than others in the city at that price point. The staff during the day were very helpful and pleasant. I had a bathroom that had a tub that was luxurious(worth upgrading to). Cons: The man who was at the desk in the evening was brusk, irritable and impatient. The doors to the rooms were very heavy(metal fire doors)and difficult to open with the key. Parking was challenging."

"All of the staff, especially Harold at check-in, were lovely. I was upgraded to a room on the 6th floor, which was quiet (except for other guests who don’t seem to know how to close a door without letting it slam shut) and had everything I needed, including a soaking bathtub - perfect after long flights and days full of walking. "The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. `The rooms were reasonably sized and great to have air conditioning and a nice rainfall shower. Will book again and take advantage of the steam room next time!"
