Highly Recommended

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing holiday based at Villa Fiorita and would certainly go there again if returning to Sorrento. The staff were all very professional and helpful, particularly in helping sort out a self-inflicted luggage mix up on our arrival. Our room was light, clean and airy and the air-coditioning worked well. We enjoyed using the pool during the day and sitting out on the sun terrace in the evening. There is a comprehensive information pack on outings and a timetable for buses to/from the hotel (the stop is on the doorstep). Of the linked restaurants we found Il Borgo to give good value and a very friendly service.

Traveller's tip on dining

Eating out can get expensive but most restaurants provide a few nibbles under the cover charge and this together with a pasta course and a drink should be more than enough to satisfy most appetites.

Not bad

Ten out of ten for effort. The rooms were kept brilliantly and the staff were very friendly and helpful. DON’T order any food from their snack menu. Everything we had was cooked on the outside and frozen in the middle. Bit far away from the town centre (10-15 mins on a bus or a good half hour walk down the middle). Amazing views and had a pool and a roof terrace for sunbathing. Was great for the money we paid, but you get what you pay for.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

If you arrive in Sorrento late at night whatever you do DON’T take a taxi from the station. Call the hotel who will arrange for a taxi to pick you up. MUCH MUCH cheaper.

Oh What a view

We received a warm welcome after a long travel day from Venice. Our room had a beautiful view of Sorrento and Mt. Vesuvius. The kids immediately jumped into the pool, which had the same lovely view. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, even going out of their way to argue with a taxi driver about an unfair fare. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
