A Nice Hide Out Place in Hong Kong
If you stay in Hong Kong between two trade afirs or just have a few leasure days and look for some hide out location with a good beach and quite, then that’s the place. You should not expect any luxury or exquisite service, but it’s quite reasonable both in terms of proces and comfort. Try to avoid week-ends and public holidays: the place is full of drunk expats and BBQ gangs.

NOISY ROOMS
I stayed there for about a week. They gave me a noisy room. When I complained about the nois, they told me it was due to the exhaust fan running in their kitchen and that they couldn’t do anything about it. They said that the fan starts at 7:00 am and goes off at 11:00 pm.

Relaxing Get Away - Good For Young Kids
The staff are helpful and friendly; the rooms are small and tired; the restaurant is terribly overpriced with very mediocre food but the location by the beach is fabulous. We stayed for five days and even in the rain we enjoyed the view from our seaview room. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the uncrowded feel of the island with its car-less paths and the instant access to the beach. Eat somewhere in town, don’t expect too much from the rooms and enjoy the location. We live on the Mainland and will probably go back some time.
Its a good place to bring kids. Bring lunch foods with you, - no refrigerator - and eat dinner at one of the local Chinese restaurants.
