Very good place to stay in Saigon
The hotel is located in the heart of the city, has a very friendly staff, and a great roof top bar. The pool is great for cooling off after a day of running around town.

Good hotel in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh
The Caravelle is the great hotel in which to stay while in Saigon. It’s centrally located and the area is very walkable. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with a very large array of items. The gym is great and much better than that in most hotels. The only issue is waiting a very long time for cocktails and wine after ordering. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel.
Be sure to hire a cyclo at least once. It’s a lot of fun riding a cyclo around a busy traffic circle and being in the middle of Saigon’s chaotic traffic.

Pleasant and helpful service personnel
The Caravelle is a delightful place. Although I have not eaten in any of the hotel restaurants, it has a pleasant atmosphere that I enjoy. This was my second stay at the hotel, and I look forward to returning a third time.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Very comfortable with one of the greatest locations in HCMC. It is across from the Opera House, and a few blocks from Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historic post office. Excellent dining and shoppinb are only steps away.
