“Great Location”

Great location-right on tram lines. 20 minutes into downtown and 10 minutes from airport. Only suggestion would be to upgrade their towels. Nice hotel with great staff, however, the towels were old and worn. Traveled with family of four and would recommend this hotel for future travels.

“Good Choice”

Convenient location for both airport and city because there are two trams in front of hotel. Breakfast with variety and quality is superb. A wonderful choice of hotel for vacationers.

Getting there

Getting there from the airport is very easy. Go to tramway station from the airport. Take Tram #10 and get off at Glatt Park (about 12-15 min). The hotel is on your right side. You won't miss it.

“Very Nice Location”

Perfect location to see beatiful Zurich!!!... loved the front desk service, I asked for a power adapter and within 30 seconds I had it at my door, also, the breakfast was included in our room and it was very good.

“nice hotel with bad service”

the rooms for couples without children is very nice The parking is extremely high although the hotel is out side the city the check in was very bad the breakfest was good the pool is very nice and also the fittness

“I will definetly go back”

The Renaissance Hotel is very welcoming and all staff do their utmost to help you out. It's just 10mins by tram from the airport. (Tram No 10) that makes it very convenient to go to and from the airport. The tram stop Glattpark is just in front of the hotel, you can't miss it. Tram 10 keeps going to the city centre and it runs almost every 7 mins. You can also get Tram 11 to go to the city centre. There are two supermarkets infront of the hotel to buy any basic needs. The only drawback is that you won't find anything else around but on the other hnd transport is very safe and efficient.

“Nice sheets!”

Clean, nice breakfast, great sheets. Can ride inexpensive public transport to and from airport - literally door-to-door.

Getting there

#10 Tram. An all-day (24 hrs) pass gets you to downtown for shopping too. Outside the airport and almost literally drops you outside the hotel.

“very good for relaxing, quiet area ( just for me ) / not too good for those who like night life”

nice, clean, quiet hotel, very efficient personal, good housekeeping team/services, not very bad location, very good transport to city center 25 min, airport 10 min, safe transport/ evening, night; not impressive view, noting to see from the windows except interior roof,no night life around-industrial area; very good for relaxing when back from city; welcome/ good night- treats, updated international/ national printed news at your door; just as the hotel has to be, not disappointed except no bathrobes/sleepers,, i do not like to walk on my barefoot on the carpet where other hundred people walked with their shoes on,not hygienic, i missed them

“LOVE IT”

Zurich was epic! Rennasiance was reallly nice too. Five star hotel...bit expensive on the bar and the asian buffet, but it's okay. The facilities are awesome and it's a GREAT location. Only fifteen minutes by tram to the city center.

Area recommendations

Go to the Old Town. Bahnofstrasse (sp?) is ridiculously overpriced.

“Excellent Hotel”

This makes me to always go with the brand. Renaissance is a part of Marriot hotel and comforts are world class. Excellent hotel. But the only concern is location as it is 11 mins away from the airport and you need to take TRAM 10 from airport. Note: Please dont go to Asaian resturant in this hotel, food is ok but staff are not at all properly trained in this resturant.
