"Loved the tides rooms. I suggest getting a bottom floor oceanside. Was able to go out the balcony back door and go straight down to the beach and pool. The rooms were nice. Only thing I have to complain about is the beds were not very comfortable. You figured they would be for the amount of money it cost."

"Our room looked nothing like the pictures shown. It was in horrible shape and in need of massive updating and improvements and could have been cleaner. I would not walk barefoot at all during my stay. The toilet was not even stable and sunk every time used. The old floor has many sunken spots throughout the room. The tub was probably the original from when it was built decades ago and needs molding on the floor, as there was a gap between the tub and floor. I was greatly disappointed that we were staying in a dive for the amount of money spent. I knew it was an older hotel, but the rooms looked good in the pictures, not at all what our room looked like. I would never recommend this hotel, and I live locally an hour away in a beach town. The only positive is the pool area was kept up and the access to The Gulf."

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so future guests can make informed decisions. Upon arrival, the first room assigned to me had a strong urine odor and cleanliness issues that made me uncomfortable staying there. I immediately reported the concerns to the front desk, and to their credit, they moved me to another room. Unfortunately, the second room also appeared unclean and did not meet the standard I expected based on the property’s listing and reviews. I documented the conditions with photographs and contacted Hotels.com while on-site. Hotels.com opened a case, reviewed the evidence, and attempted to work with the property regarding my concerns. Because the issues were not adequately resolved, I made the difficult decision to check out early and disrupt my vacation plans in order to find alternate accommodations. What has been most disappointing is not simply the condition of the rooms, but the lack of follow-up afterward. Despite being advised that my refund request would be reviewed and that I would receive an update, I have yet to receive a resolution. I understand that no hotel is perfect and that issues can occur. What matters is how those issues are addressed. In this case, I did not feel that the condition of the rooms or the subsequent handling of the complaint reflected the level of customer service guests should expect. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves."

"The condo was great! It was very clean! All the beds were extremely comfortable, except for the sofa bed. The only thing the condo was missing was an iron, to make it extra perfect! Other than that this condo was amazing! The views of the beach were phenomenal! The pools were great! The beach was just a short distance & the weather was NICE! This will be our go to spot when we come back! Thanks Luke for hosting us!"

"The condo we had was supposed to have a soft bed and it did not. All the beds were hard and no one slept good at all. Woke up sore everyday. Top bunk bed in first room had a dip in it. The shower head was not adjustable so the room with the glass shower had water coming out the door soon as you turned it on. The water pressure was up way to high The elevators absolutely suck the wait times for them was ridiculous. The jacuzzi really should be no kids because adults barely could get in the kids took over."

"If your a tourist i recommend you stay some where else lot of work crews staying there. Also there is no housekeeping. I have been traveling all of the united states staying in motels and I have never had to pay for clean tiles and wash clothes. You have take out your own garbage. So as tourist if had known all this in the beginning I would have stay somewhere else. Needles to say not a happy camper"

"We had an amazing vacation staying at YaYa’s condo. The condo is beautiful, clean, and had more than we needed. She allows use of NICE beach chairs, beach towels, and wagon. The condo was more than big enough for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Yaya communicated information perfectly, gave amazing advice and tips and made our stay beyond what she had to do as a host. We come to PCB yearly but usually stay on the quieter end of Thomas Drive. Laketown Wharf is a big place. There are a lot of people and there is alot going on all the time. We never felt unsafe, security was top notch, and the amenities (pools, hot tubs, shops,etc) were built to accommodate the large amount of people. My only advice to think about is the elevators. There are several sets but they are still slow and fill up quickly no matter the time of day. If you know you don’t have patience for that I would take that into consideration before booking. It was not a huge issue for us but it can be frustrating. Of course that is just a part of a place this size and has no reflection on Yaya or her beautiful beach home. She gave great advice on which elevators to use and how to easily navigate parking and getting to the condo quickly. We loved every minute and would definitely stay here again."
