“Ok For Price”

We had check in problems and there were crime notification signs everywhere. The hotel is not what you would expect since it is considered a golf resort. There is supposedly a golf course nearby but not on the premises. The hotel was probably very nice when built but is showing age. The customer service was not so great and the rooms were overall clean but had cobwebs in places as if the room hadn't been used in a while. It is convenient to restaurants and retail stores. For the price it was a good deal.

“NEVER going back!”

We went to Clemmons for a family reunion. We stayed there, along with my brother in law and my sister in law. None of us liked it and would of rathered stayed in a camper. The hallways smelled old and moldy, it needed new carpet. It looked nothing like the pictures. They have not kept up with that place at all. The bed was as hard as a rock. Our key card NEVER worked outside so we always had to find another door to even get in to the hotel. The last night we were there, there was some sort of party going on the music was so loud, our walls were shaking. My 4 month old was so cranky, she couldn't sleep because of the noise. At midnight. we called up front and they said the party would be over at 1 am but he would ask them to turn down the base down...nothing happened. 30 minutes later, we called back, they did turn it down some, which helped. 1 am came, music still going. 1:30 am, music still going. At 2 am, I called back up front and they said the music should of been off. They said they'd have them turn it off. 2:30 am, music still going. Around 3 am, it FINALLY turned off. When we checked out the next morning, the lady was very rude when we complained about our experience. She did not feel we should be complaining, and wrote a note on a tiny scrap of paper for the manager to call us, we wanted to be reimbursed for that night. It took MANY phone calls before we got remimbursed. We will never stay there again. There is not one good thing I can say about it.

“No scorpions in the beds!”

The carpeting in the halls arnd rooms didn't look as if it had been cleaned---ever! The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. Fortunately the rooms did not. This place is bordering on seedy, but the price was right and there were no scorpions in the beds.

“Large Comfortable Room”

My room was conveniently located on the first floor near the entrance to the pool. I went to the pool soon after I checked in. The large pool was extremely clean and well-maintained. The area around the pool was clean as well. After a pleasant swim, I returned to my room to enjoy a snack on the sofa. The room had a refrigerator for sodas and a microwave which I used for popcorn. I ate at Applebee's which is just down the street and returned to my room for a comfortable nights sleep. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant and checkout was a breeze.

“Just what we needed”

It was a family weekend for Thanksgiving. We weren't looking for a luxury vacation, just a place to sleep! The beds were great, the place was clean and we had exactly what we were looking for, a place to put our heads and to wash!

“Provided what I needed”

Overdue for refurbishing and remodeling. Room lighting design poor. Neighborhood good but parking area is isolated enough for a solitary woman to be a bit more careful. Very convenient location with close access to restaurants, etc.

“Clean, well appointed, good service!”

From check in through check out this was an enjoyable stay. My initial room was not equipped as advertised, so the staff immediately moved me to a room with all amenities as advertised. They were also helpful with directions to area attractions, and the room was clean and well appointed. I will stay at this property again when I return to the area.

If you enjoy golf and the great outdoors Tanglewood Park is a great place to enjoy both!
