"Well what can I say. Second visit to this fabulous hotel and again I can’t fault it. From the moment you walk in the grand front door, checking in and going to your room it is a delight. Lovely restored old property sympathetically completed without spoiling the grandness. Large bedrooms continue with the grandness. Breakfast, choices extend to salmon dishes with poached eggs etc, alongside the usual buffet style hot options and cereals etc. Looking forward to returning to this magnificent hotel and its grounds."

"A really great stay in Harrogate - fantastic location within walking distance of the town centre shops, restaurants and bars and of course Betty's! We enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar, staff on reception and in the bar were friendly and welcoming and our room was really comfortable. Only downside was the basement room we had was under one of the function rooms and there was a wedding taking place which meant it was quite noisy until the early hours but not a major problem. Overall a really good hotel and would definitely come back! "

"Hotel was very good, staff fantastic and very friendly, food in the restaurant was superb. As in most hotels, the alcohol was overly priced, but expected. Room was very good, a bit tired, but exceptionally clean, bed comfortable. Only 10 mins level walk to town. Would recommend and will be back. "
