"Not what I paid for. The accommodation I booked several weeks in advance was not available when I arrived and was taken to a room with just a bed in it, in the renters own house, which was in a mess as it was being done up. I was not even given a key so the house was not secure at any time. I even had to ask to borrow a towel. I paid for two nights in advance but lady after one night as the place was so awful. "

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY, apartment was dirty, bugs in bed, bathroom fan full of dirt, mold in bathroom and bedroom, washing machine had slime in it. We moved to another hotel . The property manager refused to refund. DISGUSTING PLACE."

"Clean, well appointed and good layout, everything was thought about, provision of milk, tea bags etc was a pleasant surprise. We were familiar with the area as we had lived in the town for nearly 19 years, can’t fault anything, thanks to the host"

"The apartment was very well situated in the centre of the town and quite well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay there. It is NOT, however, for anyone with restricted mobility. Access is via a steep set of steps to get to the property, and then you have to climb another set of stairs to get into the bed (which is the weirdest thing about the apartment). Parking is in the main car park a few hundred metres away and you have to understand the peculiarities of the long stay versus short stay:...

"The hallway stinks and comes into your room. No running hot water in the kitchen or bathroom sink. Heating is on a timer unable to adjust so freezing. Stains all over the blinds. Sofa bed wasn’t mate up. Views of a brick wall out your window. Save your money book elsewhere."

"Stayed for 5 nights Place was very nice clean, bed was a little uncomfortable very thin mattress and booking suggested queen bed but it was a double. Very limited on takeaway places for delivery if you wanted a night in. But otherwise a very nice place to stay. "

"Wrong address on listing. No answer to phone number on listing. Garbage in apt not emptied. Oven dirty not cleaned. No information in apt for wifi and no information sent in emails. We had to open all cupboards to find router which had username and password on back. Only 50% of side lamps worked... bulbs dead. Black mold observed in many areas. No communication with manager, if we could give zero we would. Hopfully this review will prevent anyone from going through the same experience."

"My wife and I booked the apartment as we needed somewhere to stay over the Christmas period because we were visiting and looking after an elderly relative. I had some concerns over the check-in process, as it was different to every other company I've used and, despite a direct message to the apartment owner, I received no response from them at all. "As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate...

"The hosts were great with contact from start to finish. We arrived to find a cake and some milk, which was a thoughtful touch, and they checked in with us to make sure we had found the place too. The location is perfect; really close to the beach but also there's a river at the back of the lodge where you can sit on a swing and watch the birds for hours. My daughter loved it and loved feeding the birds too. The place was spotless. Beds were so comfy too. We will hopefully be back!"

"Absolutely spot on what it says. The house has everything you need. The host said all we needed to take was, food, drink & charcoal for the BBQ. This is so true. The bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen & living area were spacious. With the living area going straight onto the patio area to the pool with several areas to sit & relax. This property is superb."
