"Hotel is in a great location, with onsite parking, however $40 to park for hotel guests per day is excessive in my opinion. The location is great for walking to attractions like Pier 39 and the Alcatraz ferry. Breakfast was amazing with alot of selection! It gets very busy though, so get there early. The only real negative comment is that I had to fight to get them to honor my Expedia VIP benefit for a parking credit, and as of yet, i still have not received a credit back on my Visa. Otherwise this was a great stay! "

"Great choice! We flew in from Oakland, and caught BART from the airport to San Francisco. The hotel was walking distance from the Powell St BART station, and to the trolly. The location was excellent, as we were able to walk to several eateries, and were only 1 block from the hop-on-hop-off bus stop. If you don't mind walking, China town and little Italy aren't far away. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was wuite peaceful. The staff was kind and very accommodating. We were able to communicate all concerns via text, with an immediate response. Based on the location, price, convenience and quality of thebroom, I would Highly recommend The Stratford Hotel, and would definitely stay again!"
