"Horndon on the Hill is a picturesque village and the Bell is a delightful pub and hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet and in a pretty setting. My only gripe was breakfast which can work out really expensive. Toast and jam is £4.10, a 'Variety' pack cereal £2.50 and tea £2.50. My breakfast cost £17.10 and it could have been more."

"The Crown Inn was more than I expected. From Mario who greeted us when we1st came to the Inn to Isabel who went above and beyond the day of check out, to Max who helped us with our late night needs. I cannot forget the young lady who delivered our breakfast, thank you so much for your help There is a restaurant on site, breakfast was awesome. Loved their Vegan English Breakfast. "One night transit stay. The room was clean. The in room breakfast was very good with plenty of choice in cereal & milk, yoghurt, fruit juice, grain bar and apples. All for a very good price of £50 per room. "

"The house was very well presented, with all the amenaties you'd expect. The kitchen and bathrooms were especially great. We had a few minor issues that were sorted with the owner without much fuss - including replacing the toaster entirely as the old one gave up on us! The only downside for us is we thought it was slightly closer to Woolwich tube station than it turned out to be so we has to bus it from there to a stop closer to the house.
