Charming hotel!

Posted 25-Jul-2015
Pros: Friendly staff, location, car service, clean fresh rooms.
Cons: A few more kitchen basics, bathroom is small
We rented a small suite so that we could fix breakfast and light suppers, and for the most part the Royal Scot was perfect. It was a little cramped for three people, and we wish a few more kitchen basics were provided. The staff went above and beyond our expectations - they were all lovely. The car service was another draw, and it also worked out perfectly for us. Our only serious dissatisfaction was the grocery recommendation - the only market they could recommend was incredibly expensive and had a very low diversity of products.

Pros: The friendly staff, the cleanliness, the proximity to all of the interesting restaurants, shopping ,venues in the inner harbour.
Cons: The rooms could be brought up to the 21st century. The cleanliness is fantastic, the ambiance etc. could be greatly improved.
Location: Good restaurants, museums, nice walks nearby, close to shopping and other amenities.
I have to mention the girl in the Gift Shop that was on duty Sunday morning the 19th of July went out of her way to help me with my needs for transportation etc, As I waited my turn I observed her with another small group , she was sooooo patient and so helpful with them as well. If I had a business of my own I would definitely hire her. The staff at the front desk were also very friendly and very helpful. I have travelled quite extensively and this is my first encounter with such a friendly group. The girls in housekeeping also seem to like their work, very friendly smiling and they do a great job of the cleaning.

Nice hotel close to the heart of Victoria

Posted 19-Jul-2015
Pros: Nice room. We spent little time there
Cons: See post about coffee
Location: Close to all the tourist attractions. Great location if walking
Nice hotel: see ratings above. However, for a city that connects strongly to its British heritage, I was really disappointed that there was coffee and tea in the room but no cream or sugar. You need to go across the way to the other building and buy it in the giftshop, waiting until they open.

Like home away from home

Posted 07-Jul-2015
Pros: Friendly staff, big clean rooms, comfy beds, plenty of towels.
Cons: Great as it is!
Location: Quebec Street, just a couple of blocks from the Inner Harbour. Walking distance to Royal BC Museum, Government Buildings, downtown, Chinatown.
A beautiful, personal hotel, close to Inner Harbour, walking distance to just about everything. Staff were welcoming and friendly, our room (upgraded upon arrival) large, clean, full kitchen, good beds. Little touches (complementary coffee and cookies in room, newspaper every morning), plenty of towels. Attached restaurant offered good food at good prices, and the staff was excellent (we came in late one evening, close to closing time, but they made us feel welcome and not at all rushed). Overall, an excellent holiday location. We would definitely stay again.

リラックスできるホテル

Posted 05-Jul-2015
Cons:
