“nice place”

“Met all our needs”

We were driving from Calgary to Vancouver and didn't want to drive into the city in dark. After a long drive the hotel met all our needs. It was convenient and about 45 mins drive from Vancouver. Parking was free; the rooms were lovely; free internet in lobby; free newspaper; adequate breakfast and Tim Hortons across the car park. We were happy with our choice.

“good value”

nice large room, there were 4 in our group and had lots of room to move around , other than a small glitch when our room door wouldn't unlock it was a very nice stay. The breakfast had a good assortment of bagels, muffins, waffles yogurt etc. We enjoyed our stay, nice and quiet. The view wasn't much but every thing else was very nice and the staff was helpful and friendly will be going back

“Will return to this hotel when we visit Canada”

It was a really nice hotel in Canada. We just loved it. It was about the only thing we found without having to take detours in Canada. The hotel was quiet except for the last day with a screaming child, but that's normal. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff were nice.

“Happy Visitor”

Very nice hotel for a stop over before our cruise. Staff were friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Neighborhood is more commercial but mall was only a couple of blocks away. Hotel was easy to find. Included breakfast was adequate and there was sufficient for guests who were there.

“Tim Hortons is next door neighbor”

We are pleased with this hotel; although, they only have one computer in the lobby to be used by the guests, I managed to browse some information that I was looking for; I appreciate that they have a printer that I could use; I just noticed that the general manager does not smile that much; he could be more friendly, we said "good morning" and heard other people said "good morning" but we never heard a response; he should practise to smile and interact more to people.

Area recommendations

The hotel is conveniently located next to Tim Hortons; it is just 5 to 10 mninutes drive to the shopping mall; everything is within a few minutes drive; I appreciate the laundry and the computer with a printer.

Getting around

We have a car so everything is closeby - shopping mall, restaurants, Costco, etc.; there was nothing special about this hotel but staying here was okay.

“Good inexpensive hotel if view doesn't matter”

This is a good choice if you just need a place to sleep. Free Canada & US long distance, that was a real bonus. Staff was helpful, breakfast was limited but good. The only thing that we didn't like was the location, it is in the middle of an industrial park, with a cement yard as a view. Having said that, it was quiet to sleep. It was wonderful having a mini fridge and a microwave. Our room was kept very clean. It was inexpensive, and a good choice if you are budget conscious.

“Piece and quiet”

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. Not being from BC, this was in a great location for getting around. Just off 200 st, we were close to shops, restuarnts and the highway. Will certainly stay again as the staff were great, and Tim Hortons beside them was a plus!

“Extremely hospitable”

We stayed at this hotel recently for a few days to do some sightseeing around Vancouver and the surrounding area without being too close when the NHL final was on. We booked the hotel for 3 nights for 6 guests ranging in age from 14 - 76. I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice view as it is in a built up area but it is really good value for money. I am extremely fussy regarding cleanliness and safety. I was a little apprehensive as the hotel was excellent value, everything was very clean and secure. It had everything we needed regarding facilities including fridge, microwave and laundry. It also offered an excellent free breakfast. While staying in the hotel we decided to stay an extra day due to the high level of service we received, which was of a much higher standard than other 4* hotels we have stayed in. Nothing we requested was too much and was accommodated extremely efficiently. They advised us off the best sites to see which we thoroughly enjoyed, where we could go to eat and shop, organised for hotels to go to following out stay. They even permitted use of kitchen facilities when requested. The staff are all extremely customer friendly, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
