"The Octopus Lair was perfect for our stay. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and to lots of restaurants and shops. We also rented bikes and rode all around the island! The Lair was clean and most importantly had amazing AC. The property was very charming and we were lucky enough to see the local osprey nesting in her trees! If you had another couple vacationing with you, it would be perfect to have them rent the upstairs while you stayed downstairs. Would definitely stay here again."

The location was perfect! Almost everything we wanted to do was a bike ride away and renting bikes was easy and a really fun way to see the island. "We took a bit of a chance on this listing as there were only a few details given as to amenities. The listing has to be updated. A few missing items. No toaster (toasting bread in the oven is wasteful, it heats up the room, and it is hazardous - get a toaster). No oven mitts or anything to take things out of the oven (the burn on my finger is healing and the scar will be a nice reminder of our stay). But it was a quick walk to the beach when we did go and a short drive into Savannah for fun day trip activities. The VRBO was clean and spacious. Cute decor. Functional kitchen space (we did cook a lot). Excellent communication from property manager and smooth checkin/checkout process per instructions provided. No complaints."

"I picked this place bc my dream is to own a pink beach house someday! Pink is my signature color. But the house is perfect for staying at Tybee. Perfect location, steps to the beach. The deck and fun chairs are so quaint and inviting. It’s an older home so it had the charm that squeaks and crookedness bring to a place, but is so comfy and special. "The room was so small that you could barely turn around in it and the overall place was run down with junk placed all around it. There wasnt a mirror or sink in the very tiny very unevened floor bathroom so.i used the kitchen sink to shave and when i did the smell of sewage was so strong that i had to open the door and turn on the exhaust fan. "I had never been to Tybee Island but the town sounded lovely and I booked a trip for my birthday. This apt is in the perfect location, walking distance to the beach. It has a quaint patio and a great vibe. Also pet friendly which made them the best place in town. Highly recommend this host and location."
