"Away for work and stayed at this really quiet venue. Nice greeting from host, great room (Apsley). Wifi good in room, no decaf option in room. Can I suggest a light in the porch so that you can see to enter the door code (sorry if there is one, couldn't see it). Great breakfast with lots of choice."

"We felt that the room was not cleaned properly, we found hairs on the bedding and in the bathroom, more attention needed, the room was light and airy, basic provisions of fridge, shared bathroom although we didn’t see any other guests when we stayed."

"One night stay at the property before our flight from Heathrow Airport, lovely place and facilities for what our family of 4 needed. Food at the restaurant was outstanding especially the Sunday roast definitely recommend the property and restaurant and would use the property in the future as Heathrow Airport was close by and easy to access. "This is a quaint two bedroom property all on one floor with a well stocked kitchen and large bathroom & shower. Barry, the owner, is very helpful & friendly. I would thoroughly recommend it. It’s not the Ritz but hey how many people stay there!! Central for St Albans & 15 min walk to City Railway station. "

"Well, what can I say is no service it was North to your coffee I had a crack sink in the bathroom and Nobody come and clean the room at all in the four days so I will not be staying at our place ever again and should have a chat with them regarding on it"

"This amazing canal boat was the highlight of our trip to England! We were amazed at how nice and clean it was. Dinner at the pub nearby was excellent and morning coffee on the deck was a truly wonderful experience. Enjoying canal life for a day was a pleasure, we will definitely stay again on our next trip."

"Excellent location for visits to Windsor, Eaton and Slough town centre. Entire booking and check-in experience was seamless. Apartment is very accessible and secure with digital locks at the gate and front door. Overall I’d recommended staying here, but the only negative was the beds. The mattresses were as hard as a rock and pillows were poor quality"
