“pretty good”
I recently spent 4 nights there and I really have no complaints. One thing that would be nice to have in the room would be a coffee maker. They have a fridge and microwave in the room which is nice. The only bad thing I can say and it's not really bad but your all about esthetics then this place wont be for you. It is really dated, carpeting, tube tv and the place could use some fresh paint. For me I didn't really care about that stuff...as long as it was clean, which it was. So if your not picky and dont' care about being in a really modern looking place then it's a pretty good bang for the buck.
“My Worst Hotel Experience”
I arrived on Monday close to midnight and was given probably the tininess room in the hotel, because I was staying there for the entire week I asked for a room changed. I was told they were full. You can barely move around the room. No fridge, microwave. The bathroom is definitely not for anyone over 150lbs. I got so fedup with asking to change rooms I eventually left the Hotel on Wednesday for the Monte Carlo in Mississauga after being told there's not refund. I would never stay there again and I don't recommend that inn to anyone.
“very convenient”
public transportation right in front of inn. easy to get to downtown area. neighborhood very safe. overall very good experience.staff was very nice and helpfull. room was very clean, bed comfortable.
“Excellent hotel for the price, highly recommended .”
Excellent hotel for the price, highly recommended if you drive a car and know how to read a map .
“Tiny Tiny Room”
Upon arrival, I was told to go to another building. I drove to this other building, which only had 5 or so parking spots- all full. The building was okay, but the room was the smallest I've ever seen! Not worth the price.
“Best value I've rec'd in a very long time!!”
Great facility. I was in one of their new rooms and it was MOST comfortable. The best value I've experienced in a very long time!!!
“Excellent Value”
Excellent value overall for a reasonable price. Great 'blackout' curtains meant we could sleep in a bit without being awakened by the sun. Although the motel is right next to a busy highway, it was not disturbing because the traffic noise was so muted. There was no tub stopper; had to use a plastic cup (there were no real glasses) to take a bath. Water pressure was great and the shower head provided an excellent massaging spray. A nightlight in the bathroom would be convenient - bring your own to use the bathroom without waking up your partner at night. Room smoke free, but often smoke smells in the corridor. There was no coffe/tea-maker in the room, but the lobby had free coffee/tea and there was a pay beverage machine. There is a small fridge that works very well. The TV has free 'pay' channels of all kinds (need I be more explicit?), so you certainly want to monitor what your kids are watching!! Conveniently right next to Sherway Plaza and a host of restaurants of all kinds, but on the weekend, going into downtown Toronto and back out is a chore with incredible traffic on both the main highways and major streets. Getting to the motel coming south from Hwy 401 down Hwy 427 is ridiculously complex. Google Maps has great directions & pictures of the changes to get you there the first time, though. We'll stay there again.
“Very small basic room”
I stayed here twice, both times in the newer building, and found the rooms very small, although this may not be indicative of all rooms. Besides this minor observation, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful.
“Wonderful cheap hotel”
Cant fault the place, thanks to previous reviews asked for a hotel in the new block, the check in lady looked a little confused but I pointed to the one which looked new and she soon understood. Only downside is it is quite a journey to the city centre but we were willing to do that and it is near lots of resturants and fast food places so you dont have to veture far for food.
“Room”
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to the highway and to a large mall and also more shopping fairly close as well. The night we were there it was quiet which was nice as we were leaving very early for the airport. Even at that early hour there was fresh coffee available in the lobby!
