"Lovely small cottage. Just the job for a short stay in the Derbyshire Dales. The cottage was easy to find but we did have some difficulty accessing the rear of the property. It is very narrow and the parking space is very tight. The property is very quaint and has everything you would need for a short stay. Very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the outside area. The steps leading down to the property at the rear are very steep and would be difficult when wet with no hand...

"Comfortable seating & furnished to a high standard. Well heated & adequate kitchen facilities. One criticism would be that the bedrooms are a little sparse: no bedside light or cabinet so nighttime safety is a risk. Also there were no obvious smoke alarms in the property. All said we were very comfortable & have booked a return stay."

Rang the number by the front door, and Kim was there within a minute to give me a tour of the property, and show me how to use the hot tub. The house is massive! "When searching for a property near to Bakewell my priority was a property all on one level due to disabilities as well as taking dogs. This was perfect. A stunning rural location close to amenities as well as travelling distance to surrounding areas, Bakewell, Castleton etc. The cottage was beautifully warm and cosy with comfortable beds, 1 double and 2 bunk beds and well equiped kitchen etc. The location was stunning, mill stream running in front of the cottage, a pond with a meadow to watch...

"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."

"The apartment was nice. Kitchen fully stocked. City centre location so was very noisy at night until 4am one night. The room also isn’t pitch black even with the curtains drawn. Could do with blinds. Floor was quite greasy and sticky so had to wear shoes the whole time. Checkout process was easy and quick. Parking was a nightmare. There’s a car park opposite the apartments but you have to pay and it’s very limited because it’s free after 8:30pm. Always fully packed. Had to park around the corner...
