Nice quiet location didn't expect kitchen and bedroom with no wall separation. I suffer with heart and lung problems. The steep walk and steps very demanding.

Pleasant Stay
Great communication from the owner prior to arrival with regards to key access to the property. The studio was spotless upon arrival. Clean towels were provided. Everything was provided as promised. The beds were comfortable, all the kitchen facilities were available should you wish to dine in. English Tv. Lovely quiet complex. The heated pool was an absolute triumph. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Nice apartment - slightly dated
The apartment was pretty much as advertised,if a little more dated than expected. WiFi good and everything you needed was supplied. The owner was very quick to respond when we had password problems with the Wi-Fi - replied to email within 10 mins and all was sorted. Stay was worth the price but the property is in need of a face lift.

The bed was in perfect working order before you took up rental on inspection after you left we found it broken. We have sorted toilet roll holder The security grids are exactly what there there for awcurity !!

Excellent stay
Super clean studio that had everything myself & my daughter needed for a short 4 day break. The apartment itself was exactly as shown in the photographs. The pool area is lovely & never an issue getting a sun bed. There is a water machine available close to the pool charging 10 cents a litre, which was really handy for top ups during the day or to refill larger bottles rather than carrying them up from the supermarket. From our initial booking & throughout our stay, communication with the host Ed was excellent, nothing was an issue & he was always quick to respond. The walk downhill to the harbour is approx 15/20 mins, alternatively there are good bars and restaurants within a 5 min walk, along with a decent supermarket. As others have mentioned, the last 5min or so walk back up to the apartment can be challenging due to it’s steepness but we didn’t find this a negative but a keep fit positive!! For those who’d rather jump in a taxi, the fare is less than 4 euros. Altogether a fantastic place on a quiet well maintained complex, I would highly recommend.

Perfect short stay accommodation
Myself and my teenage daughter stayed here for a short break and it was perfect for us. A safe, quiet residential complex with private pool in a newly renovated area. Ed, the owner was friendly and helpful leading up to and during the trip. The apartment has everything you need and more and was comfortable, well maintained and as seen in photos. The complex is situated at the top of a hill and took us 15-17 mins to walk to the main beach area. Fine for us but there’s a taxi rank nearby and the rates are reasonable. Nice restaurants and supermarket within short walking distance. Thank you Ed for your lovely apartment

Perfect stay!
I stayed four nights in Ed’s place and had a wonderful rest. It’s super clean, had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Easy to find with great instructions and everything in working order. The pool is literally 3 mins walk away and never too packed to find a sun bed. Thank you for making it so easy for me to relax. Would definitely return.

Had everything we needed
Great little apartment on a residential development, lovely and quiet and well kept. The apartment was clean and very safe and secure with a nice view of the sea and had everything that we needed for a week. The pool area was perfect and lots of bars, restaurants and 2 supermarkets within a very short stroll. Plenty of other restaurants within a 10/15 minute stroll and the beach is about a15 minute walk. There are plenty of taxis and taxi ranks if you don't fancy the uphill walk back. A taxi from the beach was only 3.50e. There is a very helpful lady who runs the onsite office who speaks English & Spanish if you do need any help. The owners provided excellent instructions for finding the apartment. Excellent WIFI. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Chill week with my best friend
We had a lovely week at this beautiful studio apartment. I know Port Royale very well and usually stay in my Uncle’s place in the complex. The communication with Ed was very good and we had no problems at all while we were there. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a peaceful, comfortable stay.

This is a lovely apartment in a peaceful residential complex. The owner was always on hand to help with any issues that arose during my stay. It is at the top of a hill but this does not bother me. Only a short walk away from shops, restaurants, beach etc. I travelled alone and always felt safe.

We have just returned from our holiday and had a lovely time. Terrific Stay
Had a wonderful stay in a location we are very familiar with. The apartment, located in a very clean and quiet complex, is ideal for two 2 people. It has all the essentials including TV with lots of channels, good quality free wifi and a large shower with great washer pressure for a refreshing start to and end to the day. Close by there are a number of good, very reasonably priced restaurants. Slightly further away there are plenty of bars and other restaurants with plenty of entertainment, including tribute acts (some good, some not so good). Recommend you dine at: El Pincho - great Tapas El Ciné - fantastic fresh fish Taberna Cántabra - sharing boards and wine Harriets Tea Room - Big slabs of home baked cakes La Tasca 7 - Watch the sun go down with a ridiculous measure of Drambuie 4.50 euros We (60 plus) usually walk to and from the beachfront twice a day and some people (wimps) think the hill is a bit steep. If you're a wimp a taxi from the rank (always plenty available) is only 5 euros (and that includes a 2 euro tip). Booking is easy, responses to questions are quick and instructions for arrival are detailed. Highly recommend.

Clean, tidy apartment on a quiet complex.
This apartment has everything we needed and is clean and tidy, on a very quiet complex with friendly residents. There is a supermarket and couple of restaurants with in 5 min walk, we had our breakfast at Hollywood Mirage everyday with a all you can eat buffet served from 08.30 - 11.00. We will be returning again next year.

Lovely relaxing week.....
The Port Royale complex was very quiet and well kept. We walked to the beach each day and got a taxi back costing 3.15 euros as the hills were too steep to walk as I have an illness. Apartment was clean and tidy, with everything required for a short stay.

Flat was very modern and comfortable.
When we arrived ed the owner was there to meet us. He was very helpful with wifi and told us what we needed to know. Port royale is very quiet we enjoyed that as we went for a quiet break. We didn't use the pool as we prefer the beach. We walked down to beach every morning and got a taxi back up as we knew how steep the climb is to the apts only cost 3.15 euros. Would have been nice to come back to a comfortable chair on patio as you get the sun from 2 onwards. Was dissapointed when found hairdryer fell apart when I picked it up so had to do without . all in all was a lovely quiet break.

Very modern in style and decoration, a little small inside
The property is very modern in style and decoration and has clearly been updated to good standard. It was, however, from our point of view, a little small inside. The complex was very nice, well-maintained and quiet with restaurant and supermarket facilities nearby. The complex is situated at the top of a steep hill and because of the location may not be suitable for people with leg or back injuries or breathing difficulties, or the disabled or elderly. The owner was professional, polite and efficient to deal with answering queries promptly. Overall, I would recommend the property.

Excellent Modern Apartment, that was well equipped for our stay.
We have enjoyed our stay in this Apartment, with everything we needed, the only request I would ask is cushions for the chairs on the patio area as we used this a lot, The complex was very clean, quiet and friendly residents. With plenty of supermarkets and restaurants only a short walk away your spoilt for choice. A nice 15 min walk down the hill and your at the beach front. We will be returning. Thank you Ed for all the instructions on getting to the apartment they were a great help.

Clean, tidy and a quiet apartment.
The apartment is easy to find with lots of parking should you rent a car, the complex is quiet and secure and the residents are friendly. There is a hill to walk down to los Cristianos which is a nice walk however you may want to get a taxi back up as it can be a killer walk. The apartment is well equipped if you want to stay in for a meal with cutlery, plates etc. There are a few fans and 2 windows to allow a cool breeze in however if it’s still too hot there is air con for €1 per hour which cooled the room in minutes when we used it. Taxi prices are fairly cheap for if you want to get around. We had no problems with the apartment and enjoyed our stay, Ed was quick to reply to anything we asked and he was a friendly host. Thankyou

Well equipped studio on quiets well kept complex
Studio was well equipped and nicely refurbished, small but exactly what we needed. Only issue was lack of aircon, although fans were supplied to help with this, sleeping at night was difficult due to the heat as it was 36 degrees while we were there! Complex is quiet, well kept and very clean, but you need to be aware of the many steep hills and / or steps all around the area.

Exactly as pictured, loved it, but no ac.
Absolutely loved this apartment and complex, stayed for a week with my boyfriend (both 25) and had an amazing time relaxing round the pool during the day and having a nice meal and few drinks on the night. Ed sent photos showing step by step instructions on how to get to to the apartment from the front building, advised how much a taxi should be from the airport and pointed us in the direction of the nicest bars and restaurants (must try overseas for a nice meal and the cocktails and fresh prawns etc from the cocktail/snack bar above overseas). The only complaint I have - and it's probably more my own fault than anyone else's as I have never used HomeAway before but - the apartment is advertised as having ac but this is fans only, which did nothing for me, I probably didn't read the small print, but it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep at night. However don't let this put you off, it's a lovely complex and its lovely and clean and ed is more than helpful. I was very anxious at first but everything turned out brilliant!

Lovely property, perfect location
We received great communication about the apartment and area from Ed prior to arrival so had no hassles at all during our holiday. Apartment exactly as pictured, spotlessly clean and the on site pool was great aswell with always enough sun loungers and parasols. The whole complex was lovely and quiet but not so much so that it felt empty. Port Royale was in the best location, 5 minute walk from restaurants and bars, 15-20 minute stroll from the main town and beaches. The walk back up the hill was a challenge but welcome after all the eating out we were doing. Would recommend to everyone we know and would love to come back if we ever return to Tenerife.

Good conditions as presented but lack of interest from the property manager
The property manager does not even bother to care about his clients after he receives his money. Me and my girlfriend had to wait three hours so that the locksmith can resolve a situation that was cause by a lack of communication from the owner and after this situation he blamed his clients. I would suggest you to think twice when renting this property because in the case of a problem you will get no help.

It seems strange that Mr Anonymous can't even be bothered to put his real name next to this review. Sums up the type of person he is! Lets put the record straight. Mr Anonymous booked my apartment and did not bother to take the information we sent him through owners direct, which we send to each and every one of the renters for the past 3 years and have used this system without any problem. Then Mr Anonymous causes £150 worth of damage by breaking into property and then blames me, the owner, and fails to take any responsibility for his actions. 3 weeks after the rental we are still waiting for the £150 we had to fork out. Because of this and knowing the type of person he is, we wont get it. For the last 3 years we have had some lovely people stay with us and as our past reviews in how we deal with people has been honest, fair, and we have treated everyone with respect. But i suppose there's always one that comes around every now and then. Just be aware when Mr Anonymous rents your apartment !!

Great Studio!
When we arrived in the early evening Ed was there to meet us and 'show us the ropes'. The studio was exactly as shown on the photographs and very clean. The complex was quiet and the pool area was lovely with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. The fresh water machine down by the pool was brilliant, saved carrying 5lt containers from the shops. It is a friendly complex and we would return there without hesitation.

lovely property and had everything we needed.
lovely place to stay. property was comfortable and met all our needs. the complex was spotless an also quiet which is what we wanted. easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and also the sea front. bit of a walk back up the hill due to it being very steep however a taxi only cost 3 euros. would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday whilst also having good bars nearby if wanted. pool is spotless. would definately stay here again.

Modern Studio Apartment
Stayed 1 Oct for two weeks. Very nice complex, refurbished heated swimming pool which was lovely, there were also plenty of free sunbeds. The apartment had everything you need the only downside was the fans were not adequate as the room was very hot. The complex is lovely and peaceful and kept very clean. It is only a 15 minute walk down to the centre of Los Cristianos but be aware walking back is a lot longer due to the fact that the complex is at the top of an hill a taxi is only 3.50 euro All in all we still had a great stay.

The apartment was clean, tidy and modern. The complex and pool area was very clean and plenty of sun beds. Was disappointed that it did not have air conditioning , but that was my fault as I did not realise i had to click on for proper information. One downside is that the complex is at the top of a very steep hill.

Good sized, modern and well-located studio apartment
Larger than average, comfortable studio apartment which has been fully updated and modernised with a good standard of decor. Located on a relatively quiet complex with an attractive pool yet only a 10 minute downhill walk to Los Cristianos promenade - only 3-4 euros for a taxi back if you don't fancy the walk back. Would definitely stay again.

Really homely comfortable apartment.
The property was just as described, It was lovely and clean. My wife is paranoid about cockroaches. I can report that we didn't see one! As described it is a bit a of hill leading up but the taxi is €4 from Los Christanos or €6 from Playa/ Hard Rock rank. however it is an easy 20min stroll down to the front.

Very clean studio
This studio had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely comfortable pillows and good quality towels. Beds are firm. The swimming pool was being revamped, so that be great for future bookings. The apartment and surrounding area is lovely and peaceful.
