A week in Los Gigantes
Another great stay, thanks again. The usual relaxing mix of sea, cliffs, great walks, perfect weather, and the spectacle of the amazing Cory's shearwaters (a seabird that flies over at night to their nest sites on the cliffs) right over our heads.

Absolutely fab stay, perfect location, lovely pool that got the sun from 10am every morning in January. Sunsets from balcony out of this world and bed was even comfier than our Emma mattress at home. Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The views couldn't be better with sunsets above La Gomera and La Palma. The host was responsive. The neighbours were quiet and considerate. Modern washing machine. Very effective boiler and lots of hot water. Car parking is helped by the option at the swimming pool gate. Renters need to be aware that it is a steep walk from the town cenntre and harbour....if you are fit it's fine! We enjoyed it.

Wonderful home away from home in a perfect location
Waking up to that view was one of the highlights of my trip. This is a great spot in a brilliant location. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. Communication was quick and thorough. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back.

A five-star view !
The apartment is so well located. In walking distance to all the amenities of Los Gigantes, and the view from the balcony over the town, the harbour, the sea and the famous cliffs is outstanding. There was no TV (although the online listing showed there was) however, a well-equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed and a spacious balcony makes this apartment an excellent choice.

Stunning views
We had an amazing 8weeks.The bed was comfy,the washing machine very good.But overall the apartment is tied.The airer is rusty,the bath chipped,the oven only has one heat, no microwave and the shower took forever to get water through, furniture tired plastic,and table top fan. In saying all that, we are ex campers and managed to have a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Thank you for your review. It was noted after your departure the boiler was faulty hence the shower and pressure not working properly, it was instantly replaced likewise the bath repaired. Maintenance is available 6 days a week if informed. I normally reply to any queries within two hours. I look forward in the future to welcoming you to our apartment.

Fantastic apartment with spectacular views from large sunny terrace
We had a fantastic time in this gorgeous apartment. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Janet the host is extremely kind and helped us out with extended check in and out times - thank you very much Janet! She gave us lots of helpful information prior to our stay and was always on hand to help. The terrace is bathed in sun all afternoon and the views are incredible. We saw spectacular sunsets and used to love watching the boats going in and out of the marina. There’s a huge comfy double bed which was a lovely feature as a lot of apartments in Spain only have twin beds. We highly recommend this apartment and can’t wait to be back. The location has the best views in Los Gigantes in my opinion and is very peaceful but is only a short walk to plenty of lovely bars and restaurants. Thank you again Janet for a fantastic time!

Buenavista 2 Los Gigantes (406)
Excellent location with a vista on the cliffs of Los Gigantes, ocean and island of La Gomera. Probably closest to Mount Teide if one is an explorer, great location to get in the ocean safaris. Closest beaches are small and in recent years have deteriorated, the best beach at Plaza del Duque is c. 20km away. So, a pair of rented ‘wheels’ is recommended, if one wants to get out and about. Overall sizeable property with massive balcony for outdoor living. The balcony has a brick wall instead of a balustrade, which significantly blocks the impressive view. Whilst featuring all amenities, renovation of the water taps in the kitchen and bathroom and shower head (all old and lime-scaled), replacement of the old noisy refrigerator, would improve the overall comfort. To be considered modern the property would benefit from an air-conditioner, recent 35C-40C heat is unbearable at night. Host and management are friendly and responsive. Overall good stay.

Great position and very comfortable apartment
Our 6th year in Los Gigantes 1st in this complex and we were not disappointed. Not a steep walk to the town about 5 minutes for an average walker. However the apartment was quiet other than the sound of waves indicating the spectacular view.

Second visit to paradise
We returned to this apartment of Janet’s for our second stay because we couldn’t believe it the first time just how breathtaking this apartment and location really is. We were so content with just relaxing on the balcony, taking a dip in the pool and dining in we found ourselves only going out to Lidl for shopping and only twice going to a restaurant. Everything is in the apartment and should be all one needs to make a very relaxing holiday. Jose the caretaker introduced himself and offered any info and help if needed. In essence this is a ‘Must’ visit apartment and as already stated the views are incredible. A new addition to the apartment is the huge double bed....to die for. Thanks Janet and yes we will be back. Fiesta Week in Los Gigantes
The apartment was clean and well equipped, with a cooker, oven, washing machine, dvd player and wifi which worked reasonably well. The bedding was fresh and the sun terrace had the perfect South West aspect with spectacular views (especially the sunsets) and great afternoon sunshine. The owner Janet was very helpful and left some pre requested items for us prior to arrival. The pool was very clean and quiet. The location was great. Los Gigantes has excellent restaurants and bars along the seashore with stunning views. The food quality was good. If you have a car there is a Mercadonna supermarket less than a mile from the apartment. The choice, quality and prices here are superior to the local supermarkets. The fish selection is top class. If you go on a dolphin spotting trip you will see bottlenose dolphins. They are plentiful and friendly. Eating on the terrace is enjoyable as well as dining out. There is lots to do here if you are active (walks, tennis, bowls, boat trips etc) and the locals are friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

The View Was The Best Thing !
Apartment was tired and needed upgrading, infested with little wicky fast moving black insects, especially in the kitchen and bathroom but must have been everywhere as they also were dancing in and out of the key board on the laptop. On the upside the kitchen was well equipped but the oven was very unpredictable. Fridge very noisy which of course you noticed at night when all was quiet. Bed bases were very raggy.... I could go on, would not recommend a stay and I will not be returning

Sorry to hear you have not had a good stay. I do have many repeat bookings but will take the points on board and address them. There is a caretaker on site to deal with any problems and I am always available, by phone, email or text to answer any issues guests may have.

My wife and I stayed in Los Gigantes and this apartment during the first week of July and...WOW! If you want an apartment with a large enough balcony to sunbathe, eat, drink and relax along with enjoying a stunning panoramic view of the sea and cliffs...then look no further because you've found it!!! The owner Janet is fantastic and couldn't do enough for us in relation to answering any questions we might have and providing us with every piece of information we may need. This is a cracking little apartment with every facility you need for a lovely holiday. Both the apartment and the complex are immaculately clean along with the pool that sits nicely below the rear of the apartment. This was our first visit to Los Gigantes and we were fully aware that it wasn't like Los Cristianos in terms of size and numbers of bars and restaurants, but that didn't matter as we were seeking a complete "chill out" break that involved doing very little. However, we ate out somewhere different every night and there was still plenty of restaurants and bars we didn't try! Three restaurants we really liked and would recommend are Jardin del Sol, La Bodeguita (try to get a table with the cliffs view) and El Pescador. Ocean Drive was the best for breakfasts we found. Los Gigantes is indeed hilly as other reviews have said but don't be put off by that as it is only a small place and everything is in easy reach so you won't be walking too far anyway. Before you know it a short walk from the apartment takes you to the lovely Marina with even more restaurants to enjoy. Janet recommended Paul Fellows for our airport transfer and we would do the same, really nice man and only €35 each way which is cheaper than any of the local taxis. All in all we had an excellent holiday but did very little but relax, however, there's still plenty to do in Los Gigantes and very good bus services if wanting to explore further afield. We had a smashing relaxing holiday, thank you Janet and you're apartment is a little gem. Richard & Louise

Fantastic view, and close to the main square
This apartment is in an ideal location and has everything you need. Wonderful view of the marina and a 5 minute walk from the square where you can go for a coffee or a meal. Its a really quiet street that I think is one of the best in the town. The swimming pool is a plus as the beaches are limited in this area. The internet reception is best by the pool and not in the apartment. Also signal for TV is not the best. Two English channels, both news, as well as Spanish and German stations. A good idea to take some DVDs or CDs with you. You can get local buses without a problem or there are plenty of places to book tours inthe village or even rent a car. Plenty of places to eat, we loved Jardin del Sol in the main square, excellent food and service.

Just arrived back this evening after a lovely holiday. Apartment was lovely,photo's are exactly as it is. Washing machine a god send dont need to take many clothes ! Lovely pool right outside apatment door...although very cold. Weather was 25 degrees + for all of the 10 days we were there. The views are amazing the cliffs to the right,&harbour right infront gigantes town to the left. The only downfall is the hillyness of Gigantes & the hill upto the apartment,but it was worth it ! Gigantes is not for the infirm as its very hilly.

Ferienwohnung mit schönen Meersblick.

Excellent apartment with a beautiful view
The check-in process worked great and easy. The apartment is well equipped and was very clean. The large terrace is perfect for relaxing and has a beautiful view of the Los Gigantes and the sea. Shopping, bars and restaurants are within walking distance. A car is recommended, however. Especially if you want to reach other beaches.

Overall apartment was clean. however, did have to wipe drawers before use. Apartment well equipped, if not a little dated and worn. Best parts, great terrace with terrific views, very large comfy bed, swimming pool a plus. Personally we found the hilly walk to and from town hard going.

Buenas vistas
El apartamento es cómodo y amplio. Las vistas desde la terraza son fantásticas. Nuestra estancia fue muy tranquila, eso depende de los vecinos que te toquen pero tuvimos mucha suerte, quizá por la temporada. El contacto con con Janet es fluido y rápido, nos comunicamos en inglés. Algunas partes del apartamento, como por ejemplo el baño, requieren una actualización pero su estado es correcto. En resumen, hemos pasado una semana estupenda.

Wir haben uns in der sauberen und gepflegten Anlage sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten uns gut erholen. In vorherigen Berichten wurde der laute Kühlschrank und das sehr langsame Internet bemängelt. Diese Dinge sind inzwischen behoben. Die Plastikliegen auf dem Balkon sind zweckmäßig aber nicht komfortabel. ...aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. Janet hat auf Fragen sehr schnell und freundlich geantwortet und war sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank! 👍😎

Gigantisch in Los Gigantes
zu den positiven Eigenschaften , wie z. Bspl. die tolle Lage , die grosse Terasse ,der super Ausblick , die saubere / sehr ruhige Anlage , das gemütliche Apptm. ,der schöne Pool , die guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ,die vielen Restaurants , die freundliche Kommunikation mit Janet etc. , wurde schon in allen Bewertungen ausführlich berichtet . Dem ist auch nichts hinzu zu fügen . Aber leider muss ich doch einen Stern abziehen : das WiFi stammt wohl noch aus der Steinzeit , die Armaturen / Küchenspüle sind völlig verkalkt / unhygenisch und der Kühlschrank nervt ständig ( besonders nachts ) durch sein lautes Motorgeräusch . Alles in allem haben wir uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sie im Freundeskreis weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Janet u.James für Ihre Gastfreundschaft und schnelle Lösung von kleineren Problemen . Zum Schluss noch ein paar Worte zum Ort , die aber nichts mit der Bewertung für die Wohnung zu tun haben : der Ort Los Gigantes hat eine steile Hanglage . Wer wie wir mit dem Rollstuhl unterwegs ist ,sollte schon sehr sportlich sein um die Höhenunterschiede und die zum Teil sehr steilen Strassen zu überwinden . Das gilt auch für Senioren die nicht mehr so gut zu Fuss sind . Wir waren praktisch gezwungen jeden noch so kleinen Weg mit dem Auto zu machen ,obwohl es im Ort so gut wie keine Parkplätze gibt . Die Anmietung / Bereitstellung eines Stellplatzes in der Tiefgarage wäre empfehlenswert .

Gemütliche Wohnung mit fantastischem Blick
Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Die Terrasse mit dem Blick bis nach La Gomera ist einfach fantastisch. Auch der Poolbereich ist sehr schön. Alles ist so, wie in der Beschreibung angegeben. Lediglich das W-LAN in der Wohnung könnte etwas besser sein.
