We have never had any issue with anyone in any other villa and we was not made aware of any issue by the guest whilst on holiday at the villa. Not our favourite review but not a true reflection of our beautiful villa and the guests stay in our home. Some Guests believe it's OK to damage property and leave the villa in an absolute state when they depart. So when asked to recompense the owner to the cover the costs then I guess we can expect some type of retaliation in the form of an inaccurate review full of untruths designed to ruin our hard earned reputation. Previous reviews from our fantastic guests have a majority review rate of 4.6 stars out of 5 due to recent past guests leaving well balanced and honest reviews. Pure retaliation is what has driven this silly review of inaccuracy. Just the week prior to the guests stay the previous guest commented in her review "We had a marvellous week in this stunning villa" "The views across the ocean include the neighbouring island of Gomera and glorious sunsets; the spectacular sheer cliffs of Los Gigantes form part of the lovely vista from the terrace area" "In fact we booked it again the moment we returned home!" "The villa is spacious, very comfortable and extremely well appointed and equipped" Villa Review December 2018. So it's really odd because as detailed below: We don't have a cellar in our Villa? The Villa was renovated just 6 years ago? The Sun Shines on every window? We have heaters for every room? (although not always necessary) All Blankets are changed every 3-6 months? We do not and never have had a Cockroach infestation? Nor do we have Cockroach Tools - Whatever they are? In Winter Sunshine arrives on the Patio at 11am not 1pm? There are no broken tiles in the pool? The Sunsets are amazing The Pictures show ample space for Sunbathing and amazing views? The Villa is in the most peaceful part of Los Gigantes? Los Gigantes I believe is the best place not only in Tenerife but in the whole of the Canary Islands it has something for everyone and is such a beautiful destination to relax and enjoy the lovely warm weather. A tremendous amount of work is done by Janie to ensure each guest has the most wonderful holiday and Janie is always on call should you have an issue with anything whilst on holiday.

Thank you for your review although a little unbalanced as you forgot to mention the Amazing Ocean Views from the Villa Terraces, The Beautiful Pool and Garden Area with it's Outside Dining Area, The Fantastic Facilities within the Villa, including a newly Fitted Modern Kitchen with New Appliances, The Beautiful Bathroom and EnSuite and the well appointed Bedrooms and Living accommodation. In response to the 5 issues you mentioned in your review, we acknowledge that 3 of the mosaic tiles on the pool floor are missing and this is being resolved at the end of February 2018, however we do not have a filter on the floor of the Pool although we do have an outlet water gully which we have examined and found it to be in perfect order, so I'm not sure where the filter is that you mentioned and considering Myself or Janie my Villa Manager in Tenerife never received communication from you in all your holiday in relation to any of your issues. We advise every guest to contact us immediately should something not be to their satisfaction and we will endeavour to remedy the issue as immediately if possible. We do have a docking system in the villa agin if you couldn't find it then maybe you could of contacted us to ask where it was. Prior to every Guest arrival the Villa is cleaned personally by Janie my villa manager, Janie's cleaning is meticulous, ensuring the villa is spotless and ready for new guest arrivals (Janie also meets new Guests on arrival at the villa), so it's highly unlikely that any belongs of a previous guest is left in any bedroom or indeed any other part of the villa, but again you did not contact us to make this known whilst you where at the villa. We have spoken with the owner of the villa who had work carried out on his property and this was for one day only, not 5 days, certainly not pleasant for the day which we accept and apologise for. The Door you mentioned leads under the Patio deck, not to the pool room and it's generally locked again if you was unsure then you could have contacted us. The Villa Patio/Sunbathing Area receives Direct sunshine from 9am in Summer and from 11am in Winter when the Sun is lower in the sky its the same for the whole of Los Gigantes, this is due to the height of the mountain to the North of Los Gigantes. We do not have constant traffic past the villa as the villa is at the end of a Cut de sac. No Steps just a leisurely 5 min walk along the footpath into the village or get a Taxi for 3 euros.

Thank you for your fantastic review of Villa Boutique, we are so happy you had an enjoyable stay at the Villa and glad you found the process of booking and dealing with myself and my team in Los Gigantes seamless and an easy experience. The Villa does have a washing machine in the utility cupboard so not too sure why you could not find it. Cabled WiFi is very slow at this end of the Rock so it wouldn't be much use if we had it installed I'm afraid. The Solutions are to connect your PC to your "Hotspot" on your phone to gain access to the internet (it takes 5 seconds to set up - real simple and doesn't cost a penny extra) or you can do what I do which is go get a cappuccino at one of the many Bars/Cafes in the village, chill out for an hour and log on there. Alternatively a WiFi Box can be hired for 30 euros per week this works the same as connecting to your hotspot on a phone so probably best use your hotspot tbh. Occasionally the signal strength on the TV aerial drops (happens all over Los Gigantes) which can sometimes stagger the picture but hey ho it's sun-shining outside make the most of it :-)

Out of interest you can get a Taxi too and from the villa to the Beach, Marina, Shops, Restaurants & Bars, Village Centre for 3.5 euros if prefer not to walk down into the village (normally takes 5-10 minutes to walk down).

It's a little disappointing that after being asked to pay for hundreds of pounds worth of DAMAGE YOU CAUSED to my wondeful villa you have now decided to leave a review that is completely untrue. The Villa does not have damp in it, nor does the fridge leak unless you leave the door open which I suggest you may have done and this is were you have the damp you mentioned. The utensils are just fine. All our beds are in good order so much so our guests have complimented me on how comfy they are, no bed has collapsed. The Bathrooms have only been fully refurbished 3 years so again complete untruth. We provide 2 sets of bedding and towels for a 14 night visit to our villa and all are renewed every 6 months. Even if any of the above had been true or indeed you had had an issue at the villa then why did you not contact me or my villa manager Janie during your holiday to ask for assistance. Janie will call out within hours to sort/fix any issue a guest may have. I also have a maintenance engineer who calls to the villa twice per week to ensure the pool and gardens are in good order this also enables my guest to speak to him and ask for assistance also. I have 12 amazing FIVE STAR reviews and 2 wonderful FOUR STAR reviews from guests who have previously stayed at my villa who have left messages like "Relaxing and Serene", "Perfect for a Relaxing Holiday", "A little corner of Paradise", "5* villa 5* location", "*HIGHLY RECOMMENDED VILLA & RESORT*", "Peaceful Holiday at Beautiful Villa Boutique" certainly worth a look at before your mislead by this ridiculous review.

No expensive Hotel Drinks Bill, No over inflated restaurant prices, No fighting for Sun Beds at 7.30am in a morning and most importantly you have your own Private Pool just for you. Villa life at Villa Boutique really is the most relaxing and carefree holiday experience you can have.

As mentioned it is in a lovely quiet spot and only takes 4 minutes to walk into the village. Comfy beds are very important and quite a personal/individual opinion although most people find the beds to be perfect but with this in mind we will replace the beds during the next two months to find the comfiest beds on the island as it's important that our guests have the best nights sleep to enable them to be full of energy to enjoy the following day.

After a weeks holiday I left my villa the day you arrived and I did not see any unwanted insects in the villa or indeed around the villa. The villa and its grounds are treated twice a year for insects and since your review we have treated the villa for a 3rd time although we did not see any insects in October 2022. Myself and my team are always on hand should any guest have issue with anything whatsoever we are just a phone call, text or email away and will always remedy any issue with out delay. Unfortunately we did not receive any communication from you during your holiday so to find out by a review you had an issue some 2 weeks later is indeed hard to remedy. Sincere Apologies
