Salomon was a perfect host and the property is jaw dropping! I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It is so grand and fits in so well to the Sicilian

It is a unique old place with an eclectic style. The balcony and view were fantastic. Sakiko did have some positives and picked us up once and booked us a taxi. This was let down by; the unsafe electrical socket in the bedroom. The dirt and dust bunnies under the bed. The dirty floor on the balcony. The dirty table on the balcony. The fact the towels were changed only once. The poor shower that as well as being generally terrible was also dripping and required a valve turning off. The smallness of the room. The hotness of the room. The difficulty in check-in requiring us to be there before 10 or after 5. The difficulty or disinterest in fulfilling simple requests. The demands for us to provide a specific fixed breakfast time every day,rather than the usual e.g. Any time between 8 to 10. Lots of light switches etc inoperable. The difficulty in opening the doors. Needing a torch to get up the stairs often. The noisy workman engaged in a smashing operation two mornings during off stay. The lack of local information provided. The property overall has seen better days, needs cleaning and some serious maintenance.
