"My Husband and I staged here this weekend. David was a fantastic host. The food was plentiful, amazing and a very good price. Breakfast was also amazing. For me a found the pillows great for watching TV for the support, but a bit too hard for sleeping, but the bed was comfy and the sheets were soft. "The hotel is a very old building and therefore no lift and for us in a top floor room quite a lot of stairs. Room was a good size with double bed, desk, small table and two chairs, wardrobe with iron and ironing board. Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdrier and fridge. Free wi-fi good TV. Reasonable sized en-suite with over-bath shower. Mismatched bedside lights; not important but could improve the image. There is airccon but we didnt need it. "Part of the building date form the 16th century. The staff were welcoming with a good choice in the restaurant and the food was good. As I was staying one night I deliberately booked a small room. It still had everything I needed and was comfortable. Great area for an evening walk as there is a park within a few minutes walk. A Good hotel "

"Good spacious modern accommodations- 2 bedrooms 1 with king bed en-suite and other with two single and lounge , another bathroom with small kitchenette that includes microwave, dishwasher , basic dishes and cutlery, kettle , coffee maker - with some tea/coffee. Convenient location . Would use again and recommend "
