First I booked for one night as I wasn't sure what to expect, but ended up staying my 4 nights!
Rooms with 2 beds are very spacious, one bed no so much but if u are not planning to stay at room during the day it's perfect to sleep and rest and with enough space for our two suitcases! Breakfast is included with veggie option available! Staff very friendly and polite as all japanese, they only speak a little English but u don't really need more. WILL TOTALLY RECOMEND IT! very good location if u coming from Narita and 5 min walking from ueno jr station to hotel! If coming from Narita ks line maybe 8 or 10 min! Good comunication with metro to go everywhere and within walking distance of commercial area, restaurants, shops and sightseeing,
"Great hotel near Asakusa & Kuramae train stations."
Staff were extremely helpful and the room (double) small but modern, very clean and comfortable. Within a 2 to 3 block radius - a Post Office as well as a 7-11 and a Family Mart (opposite side of the street) for basic supplies. Within 4-5 blocks, Asakusa Tourist Bureau (great maps), temples and shopping streets. A great place to stay for a week or more of exploring Tokyo. Felt totally safe as a solo female tourist.
stayed on 19th May 2014 with a friend for 70usd/night, 1min walk to exit 2 tawaramachi station on ginza line (G17), reasonable space of room for japan standard, clean room, excellent power shower, very comfy pillow and mattress. they kept our luggage after check out. 10-15min walk to sensoji temple Receptionist very helpful & try their best to make us understand their english. will come back to this hotel for next japan trip. Highly recommended
It was our last hotel and in my opinion it was the best out of all, plus the cheapest! Even though the space is the smallest among all. The room is clean, front counter tried to help out as much as possible and facilities provided are just what we need. The semi-double bed for two people and the small space might be the only downside for it, and it's really just about 5 minutes walk from the Asakusabashi station and directly next to the hotel is Lawson, you don't have to worry bout getting hungry at all. It was a pleasant stay for us.
Very nice staff; all staff are hospitality, they help me a lot when I ask or request anything such as the way to go to starbuck at ueno, how to go to narita airport in difference ways. When I buy food from superket I can borrow bowl or dish from them
High speed internet; I can use wi-fi in my room without any problem, the hotel also offer LAN
Various facilities; Unbelievable, there are microwave, electronic stove and kettle in my room they offer these things beyond business hotel
Not far from the station; just 5 mins walk
Important thing is the price is not expensive in a good location you can go to ueno or asakusa just next station.
Although no housekeeper clean in the room during you stay, You can request the new things that you want from the staff.
Overall I think this hotel is very excellent.
By my judgement, the hotel cannot be more than 3 years old. All facilities in the public area and the rooms are in top condition. My room was quiet, extremely clean and not minuscule like some Japanese hotels I stayed in before. Wifi is strong in every corner of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was ample.
Two night stay in Tokyo. Fabulous base for shopping, dining and sightseeing. Take the waterbus river cruise to enjoy a different view of the city, or hop the metro line to anywhere. This hotel meets all our expectations for a Dormy Inn - an affordable hotel chain with good perks. We really enjoyed the rooftop footbath!
