"Peaceful location. From the moment we arrived the hostess, Jo, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The room was clean with good facilities and refreshments. The property is conveniently located for visiting Alton Towers (less than a 10min drive). Would strongly recommend a stay at The Beehive Guest House if visiting the area."

"Stayed for 3 nights for a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast menu gave a very considerable choice (2 sides A4) of vegetarian breakfasts and excelled in variety, quantity and quality (am not personally a veggie!). Kingscroft has ample car parking and is around a 10/15 min walk to Buxton town centre. If you go do take your breakfast appetite with you. "

"Had a wonderful three nights, comfortable bed, enormous continental breakfast which was fab, fascinating decor which we loved, big wet room with huge towels which were so cosy, slippers provided, in fact you couldn’t fault anything, beautiful gardens to relax in, great hosts, very welcoming. "Lovely secure property with all anemities accounted for. Kevin met me at the door to go through some details and answer any questions I had, he also kindly upgraded my room for the night! Room was spacious and spotless with microwave, mini fridge and great power shower. A folder was also provided which had useful info about the hotel and the local area. Will definitely be staying here again, thanks Kevin!"

"Overall our two nights were good room and property were very clean and there's a kitchen for food. A couple of points would be to have a blind on the bathroom door window mainly because the morning light comes in and wound add more privacy. Also we found the mattresses uncomfortable and springy so didn't get a great sleep but its a lovely property and would stay again if beds were comfier "

"This is our second time back at the cottage. The pool is brilliant and much bigger than it appears in the photos. The surrounding are is beautiful and the cottage is really clean, snug and well kitted out. Another great stay."

"Fantastic stay and facilities, we thoroughly enjoyed out little hideaway. This place is a hidden gem and we definitely will be back. Only downfalls are the fact that it isn't advertised so well as this property has huge potential, gym is a little on the small side and it most definitely could do with a onsite restaurant for gain revenue for the place to maximise the income but it didnt effect our stay as we had all the facilities we needed in our lodge and planned on going out anyhow.
