“Outdated. To move from room to facilities you have to follow a maze.”
Room didn't have a small fridge. The bathroom didn't have a tube bath, just a shower. To go to the pool or other facilities you need to go up and down and through the garage, it is like using the facilities from a different hotel. As a good point very easy access to slopes, easy ski storage. Close to main street. Nice restaurant and bar inside.

Excellent and price convenient ski in/out
“Great Hotel, just needs a little updating.”
This is my second stay at the Beaver Run Resort, and both times it was a great stay. The hotel is in a good location, if you don't mind a short walk to Main street Breckenridge. There is a shuttle as well. I would say that the thing the resort could most improve upon would be the condition of the rooms and accommodations. They are just old compared to other locations, and don't justify the price that they ask for them. I like what the rooms offer (We stay in a suite, which includes a great jetted bath tub), just need to be updated to current standards. Beyond that, more parking would also help, as the outdoor lots fill up fast.
“Beaver Run Vacation”
I love Breckenridge. I enjoyed my time at Beaver Run Resort, however the rooms did not have air conditioning and there were few windows in which you could open to allow the mountain breeze to cool the room. Overall, the stay was delightful. Our family has a condo at a nearby location across the street and I feel that anywhere you stay in Breckenridge is a great choice!
“Beaver Run”
Beaver Run is not the closest place to stay to Main Street. There is a free shuttle but it does not run on time and you must call ahead to get a ride. Since there is a tip cup, it's not even free. The room was fine but my wife thought it was old looking. With all the amenities, it was fine. No TV next to the bed but it did have HDTV. Due to the altitude, the walk from town to the resort is uphill and tiring. My biggest issue was it's too far from town, but that is my fault for not researching it more. The employees were very friendly and the check in was fast and efficient.
“Colorado Suite”
Room was clean and tidy. Front desk was pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable other than the pull out queen sofa sleeper. Quite possibly the worst mattress I've ever slept on. Mattress was heavily worn in the middle, pencil thin, sunken in, and I felt the metal supports of the bed the entire night. My wife felt the same way. The couple which stayed with us said the queen bed in the bedroom was pleasant. I would try this hotel again all things considered. I must also note that I did not bother with trying to remedy the situation of the bed as I was only there for one night.
“Unless you like filth, don't stay here”
I have stayed at Beaver Run many times and have been very satisfied with the quality of the hotel. The overall hotel and staff have been excellent, the food very good, and the service generally exceptional. However, the hotel room we stayed in was filthy and the staff non-responsive. There were pubic hairs on the floor, glass on the counter (my wife cut herself on it), you could see in the room from the hallway such that we had to keep the blinds drawn, and the bedsheets had not been changed and were filthy. There are better places to stay in Breckenridge, particularly given the price we paid.
“Excellent place to stay with our grand daughters!”
We were able to stay in a suite that was a very comfortable apartment. Queen bed/bedroom and a living room with a sleeper couch. If you asked the girls what they liked it would be the pool and hot tub. We did not stay long enough to use all of the "fun" options. Beautiful landscape and plenty of parking. If traveling through Breckenridge we will stay here again!
“Worst hotel ever”
When I booked the standard room for Beaver Run it said it was Queen size beds and climate controlled. The hotel said they were out of queens and only offered 2 double beds for my husband and I!! The climate control is the windows! The room was not clean and still had coffee in the maker and trash when we checked in. We will never stay here again!!!!
“Great vacation spot!”
Really enjoyed our vacation to Beaver Run in Breckenridge, Colorado! We've stayed there many times and always enjoy our stay! The hotel is getting a little older - but still a great place to stay.
