Our lodge looked a little tired, compared to where we stayed before, perhaps because it is up for sale, the owners have lost interest. The upstairs balcony was rather dirty with bird droppings and the wood was rather slimy, which made it more or less unusable as a pleasant place to sit. "The property is located less than 10 mins walk to the Hayle Towens which is a beautiful sandy beach that has RNLI present and has lovely views towards St Ives and surrounding areas. The property was perfect for my two young children and the walk through the Bluff Inn car park down to the beach is a gentle incline to quickly carry down all our beach gear doing away with having to use the car and finding car parking to spend a lovely day on the beach. "The house is even better than the pictures. There were eight of us and plenty of space. Loved the various outdoor areas and the open plan living space meant we could all spend quality time together playing games and eating. Luxurious bedding and high end bathroom facilities. Laundry room was handy. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was great. Visit Porth beach which is easy accessible for older people. Open air bus to Padstow was fun and popup cocktail bar at top of Lusty Glaze does great...

"Could have had better network/wifi options. The wifi only for TV was very slow. Found quite a few insects, could’ve been cleaner, toiletries (tissue roles) could’ve at least have been provided. To add, washed quilt and other beddings (had to dust the living room & bed pillows)."

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
